i dont know if this goes in a seperate thread (yeah, this is a big day for me not knowing stuff :silly:. sorry for any trouble i cause :blush: ), but im not sure how big it would be, so a mod can just close the thread if its a waste:

how many of you guys out there watch HIMYM? i know a few of you, but most of you dont seem to post here, so its hard to tell who watches and who doesnt. it may not be as much a favourite show of yours as buffy or angel or firefly, or you'd probably be on a different board, but it has a thread for a reason! 😀
 
i havent seen a lot of season 1, but i liked that one with 'nothing good happens after 2 AM' and 'milk'. i also liked when marshall made up marshgammon, but i dont remember which one that was, or if i liked the whole episode except that part. in season 2, i remember i loved 'ted moseby: architect' because of the twist that surprised me! 😀 oh, and i liked 'aldrin justice' also cause it had a lot of aly hannigan! what about you? or anyone else if they're out there?

EDIT: oh, and i liked that one in season 1 where they went to the prom!
 
I am a huge fan of HIMYM. 'Nothing good happens after 2 AM' is a classic. Prom episode was good as well. I also like the one with Ted's parents visiting to meet Robin but can't remember it's name.

I think the episode was "Brunch" from this season.
It's always hard for me to pick favourite episodes (I've seen every single one of this series). Sometimes this show plain annoys me, as sitcoms often do, when the plots just seem too infantile.

But I still like this show generally and I liked some episodes a lot this season. "The Scorpion and The Toad", with the intrigue about Lily's return and what her summer had actually been like. "World's Greatest Couple", because Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris are just so funny individually, and coupling their characters together in his apartment was a riot.
 
I definitely watch HIMYM, in fact I just watched this week's episode. Usually I get bored with shows like this where nothing really happens, like the story doesn't move forward in every (or even every other) episode, but with HIMYM I just like the episodes a lot anyhow, yup, mhm 🙂
 
I love it too! I just have been downloading them and havent had a chance to watch them. I love the Barney ep ones, like the one where they kept calling him Swarly. And the slap bet...so funny!
 
cool! see, i only knew a few of you were fans! 🙂 and yeah, barney's an awesome character! i love that 'slap bet' and 'swarly' stuff! 😛 and i also agree with epo. even when its slow moving, i just keep watching despite that! i like the eps! 😀
 
I like the show, only seen up to the end of season one though. I don't like it as much as I used to, it gets less and less funny and towards the end seemed to be just an half-hour soap with the occasional funny moment, even though it's fairly lighthearted.

I'll catch up with season two soon.

loved these two episodes!!!

i'm up to about 2.13 i think... i was downloading them but australian tv has just started s2 so i might just watch on tv now.
 
I'm also watching this show on Aussie TV, think we're up to the 4th ep in season2. I don't come here in here much in case I get spoiled.
 
I don't think spoilers about season 2 can be too bad though, seeing as – honestly – not too much has happened 😀
Still a fun/good show though, really, heh.
 
My hubby and I are big fans! We only get CBS and ABC, so we mostly watch CBS if we watch any TV at all (we have lots of DVDs). But this is definitely one of our favorites! We started watching for Aly, obviously. I'm not that much of a sitcom person because, well, most of them suck. But this one's great! The writing is amazing. I love how the stories are told in such a unique fashion almost every week. We weren't totally sold on it until the cockamouse! :silly: We have the first season on DVD and I think we've seen every ep at least three times. LOL! 🙂
 
i really don't watch much anymore but i'm gonna start agin cause i love this show

i started watching because of Aly but i love everyone on the show

I love this show and have seen all the eps up until now. I loved the premiere for season 3 and can't wait for more new episodes 😀

I like them all, but I think my favourite episodes so far would have to be either 'Swarley', 'Slap Bet' or 'World's Greatest Couple'. Those are legen - wait for it........
