i mean i know it creates drama, but we have so much. I prefer when everyones happy, a lil drama is fine, but buffy was much funnier when everyone was moderetly happy. Everyone is always so depressed. I feel like I'm watching dawsons creek. plus i just heard a spoiler that would really welll be sad, not sure if its true though ::thumb::

I do miss the humor. Drama is all the show has at this point. First, Buffy is boinking Spike, Willow goes overboard with spells, breaks up with Tara, pisses off Amy the Witch and Xander leaves a 1200-year-old ex-vengeance demon at the altar (Moron)! I can't wait to see how this season will unfold.

I know exactly what you mean. This season is most definitely the worst. It isn't that funny and it's too depressing for me. That's not a bad thing, but there is nothing good whatsoever happening. I loved when everything was better. I'm getting so sad from all the upsetting episodes. The characters' emotions reflect my own now.🙁

Not exactly thrilled with the suffering myself. I mean, in a way it makes sense, what with the fallout of last season [it didn't exactly end on a happy note after all] but I'm hoping that the suffering comes to an end, rather than culminating in even more. I don't mind drama in my Buffy. In fact, that's a good thing. But too much and I just feel overwhelmed. 🙁

I like my stuff dark, but this is just a bit too dark. I liked it, like say.. back in season 2 and 3. It was still dark and dramatic, but it was also humorous and played a lot on metaphors (that's kinda what Buffy was established on). UPN has given "Buffy" a lot of leeway with things, I just don't know if that's good or bad.

I have to say that I am enjoying season 6. I do feel depressed about the show because of all the really crappy things everyone is having to go through. But they are growing up. This is part od life. I think that Buffy is going to start coming out of the rut she been in. I have heard some really say spoilers too, mainly concerning Willow. I think the season has gotten better with every episode. Maybe this is just an adjustment period for the show.

Yeah - I agree with ya'll. Drama is good, and I am liking Season 6 (except all the damn reruns), but it is almost getting too soap-operaish now. Get back to fighting some major monsters - more smart-alec comments!!! Makes me wonder about next season - will it get more dramatic, or revert back to the old style more???

Hmmmmmm.....

yeah, they don't want to drown us or the chracters in all the drama and darkness. the light needs to come through soon..... but I doubt it will be anytime soon!!

Buffy came back from the dead, after she was pulled out of heaven by her "friends." Her mother's dead, Giles left her, she's broke, Dawn is teenaging out of her mind, she's sleeping with an evil vampire, Willow's wiggin', and Xander's freaking on marriage...wouldn't it be odd for her and everyone else to be all tra la la? They are finding out that trying to become an adult is just as painful and scary as fighting evil demons and monsters. Things were pretty dark the season that Angel became Angelus. This is a dramedy with more drama than comedy.

drama is fine in moderation, this show was not built around it being a drama, it needs some fun episodes, not everything has to be so doom and gloom all the time

Yes I am. Its just so damn sad all the time. I don't really want to see everything be saccarrine (sp?) sweet, but it was never like that before anyway. Its always had an appropriate mix... BtVS reminds me of me in the discus circle.... we both are off balance.

I think it is missing that right now, when EVERYone is miserable thats not balanced... that's depressing. I don't need TV for that, real life is depressing enough. Like, when you find out that instead of working for the chief engineer you have to work the same crap job answering phones from people who complain about their farking traffic lights! Sorry, need to rant a little.

It looks like maybe Willow will be happy for a while. I don't read spoilers but somehow I get the feeling thats not gonna last either... 🙁

joss did say buffy coming back from the dead wasn't going to mbe easy.too much lightness may have hampered our believe in buffy's ressurection.it does look like this season may be a watershed for the series.a realitic way back to a slightly happier time.trouble is with buffy growing up she's having grown up problems .which is always going to be a less carefree than teen years.

true and i would definetly rather watch the lighthearted episodes of season 2 than this season bring back the good times!

yeha i'm glad they are "growing up" and all, but if wanted to see real life i'd watch real life & not tv. for tv i want fantasy!

so lets get back to witty, clever buffy we all know & love. I miss the first couple of seasons something fierce.

Yeah Season 2 was really good, The only dramamtic episodes where.. ...the ones where Kendra died, That one was pretty intense, I liked it though. Season 6 is just not as good, Yes I know Buffy was pulled from heaven and all but .. Enough DRAMA. We have so much in our lives. Maybe Season 7 will lighten it up a little then again, This is the last season of Buffy in Season 7. I do hope though that it wont be as bad as this. It probably will since Willow is all evily and yeah. I cant wait till I see Season 2 again!!!!!

they've had some fun episodes, once more with feeling and tabula rasa were both really funny at times, but i think there should be more of that, drama is good in a show but not in exccess, there should be a balance
