I was wondering about getting this, but there are a lot of other things I would like to buy instead of it. I'll probably get it anyway some day, but I was just wondering.

It's not horrible. The combat engine is a bit sluggish. They make you play (and fight!) as Xander, which is ridiculous. And hard. I haven't finished the game yet, though.

I loved it, I ran out and bought it the week it first came out... Its one of my favorite games because it is Buffy.. I need a new one though because i played my old one so much that it is screwed up.... It freezes now cause of how much its been played which sucks cause i've been wanting to play it...

I mean in reality its not the best game ever it may not even be any good by anyone who isn't a fan's standards but i love it... You get to be all the major players for the most part and its fun... Something nice to at least have in your collection...

Yeah, I loved it too. The first Buffy game for Xbox was better though.

Well this might not help much but all I remember is that it was really hard. Unless I just sucked at it XD but I think it was cause of how the battle system was. It wasn't the greatest. The first boss I was stuck at and it was just really frustrating that I don't think I tried the game again after that.
Though I'm sure it could be enjoyable because of the Buffy characters and such.^^

I bought it yesterday and I love it, I'm already up to level three...I only played for an hour but I was really into it, lol. I personally really enjoyed it and think it was worth it, but ya know, it depends if you wanna take advice from a 13 year-old or not 😛

Just wait til you get to Adam . . . *eye roll*
I loved it! I bought it a couple years ago for PS2, and thought it was really well done. I was dissapointed to hear that SMG and Aly Hannigan couldn't do the voiceovers for their characters, but everyone else has the actor's voice. You get to play as Buffy, Spike, Faith, Xander, Willow (and even a wee little puppet man 😉), each having their own abilities and strengths, makes the game just that more fun!

I got stuck on a couple levels, but there's enough support online for it by now that you can certainly muttle your way through. It's challenging but only reasonably so, I think the average person would enjoy it.

I'd reccomend it anyway, I was very impressed with it! Worth the money for sure, will always be entertaining 😀

I think it's a great game. However, as mentioned the movements are not as fluid as we'd like them to be. So getting your arse beat is going to happen when you're Xander. But still, worth the buy and the play time.

I didn't think it was as tough as all that. Kakistos was the only boss who gave me any trouble, everyone else I beat first time :S Good game though, and once you've cleared it, you unlock the option to play as Joss in multiplayer mode, complete with voice over 🙂 "Nobody can stand up to my writer...ness"

I haven't played it in awhile cause I'm stuck at Adam and it's very frustrating. But I might pick it up again now that I have so much free time from being an unemployed loser. . . .
