I know that this might have been discuss in other treads but I couldn't find a tread that really talks about that question.

Honestly, I think Faith is bisexual, it was just never publicly said. A lot of things make me think that. First of all, she and Buffy always had that chemistry between them. Some of you might say that it was friendship but I think it was a bit more then that. I mean, the only real relationship Faith had in the serie was with Buffy (either it was freindship or more then that). Beside that, Faith was never happy with a guy, she was always using them, like she did with Xander, Riley and Robin. I think that the only scoobie that she didn't try to use was Buffy. Plus, i think that the heart/window scene met a little more then 'ok let's go slay some baddies'.

I think it may be percieved that way because Eliza played out that attraction to Buffy and no one did anything to stop her. But character wise, no, I don't believe that. If I see something different I might change my opinion, but as for now I stand by Faith being heterosexual.

In S8, Faith states pretty definitively that she's straight. She seems to enjoy having a girl friend, but has no desire for a girlfriend.

I was pretty much not agreeing with the references you based your argument on until you got to that gem ... I always thought that alittle odd.

To quote Faith in S8:

'If you think I'm going down town on this chick, you chose the wrong Chosen One.'

Which to me states very definitely that Faith isn't into girls.

I think (for once) the sexual overtones weren't being used to imply any kind of bi-sexuality on Faith's part. What she had with Buffy transcended that; it was a true, deep connection. Faith couldn't deal with that in any way except by hiding behind her overt sexual nature. That manifested itself with a definate lesbian vibe, but she never really seemed in any way interested. A similar thing happened with The Mayor (e.g., her calling him her "Sugar Daddy") because she couldn't deal with the real connection in any other way.

I think Faith has some kind of love/hate relationship with people, in general. On one hand, she likes sex and she's very sexual, she would do anyone. On the other hand though, she kills, tortures people even when they try to help her. I don't know if that makes sense to you.

There has been a thread like that. You can find it here:
Is Faith bi..?

But yea, since it's closed it's reasonable to maybe start a new one. I just point you to it in case you want to follow that discussion for more insight.

I personally think she wasn't, at least not bisexual bisexual, you know. Okay, probably not becausemy choice of words here is a little confusing, but what I mean is that more or less everyone is bisexual to a certain degree, but if your distribution might be 99 to 1 you probably wouldn't call yourself that. Know what I mean?. But why do we need to put labels on people like this anyway?

Remember that comment Faith as Buffy made in Who Are You?

So Willow's not driving stick anymore. Who would have thought?

That doesn't sound like a comment made by a practicing bi-sexual. Add that to the comment she made in Season 8, and the evidence seems pretty clear. She's not a practising bi-sexual. She doesn't see herself as bi-sexual. Now, could she become one? Are there latent tendencies? Those are different questions.

Don´t know what to say more than that I agree. So a boring karma comment it is.

Maybe she was just disappointed that Tara got to her before she could. Her and Willow always had that sexual tension vibe going on.

You mean like when Willow was hitting Faith with her purse.

Check out the online comic Evil Vampire Willow for Fillow fun.

Faith is not, never has been and never will be gay or bisexual, shes stated so herself.

Not that I think that Faith is bisexual even if I´d like the idea. But using the argument "She stated that herself" sounds a bit lame to me. Because no, people never lie. Not to others and certainly not to themselves... And never will be? :lmao: Ok, I´m sorry. I didn´t mean it like that. But do you really mean that not one person in the world has changed their mind (so to speak) after they turned 20?

Now, could she become one? Are there latent tendencies? Those are different questions.

Exactly.

Yes. Usually there's a link that says 'original series', or 'archives'. That's where you want to be for Fillow.
Yes. It's not recommended for kids, or work, of course, (should've tipped you by PM. Oh well, too late now) but it is the only example I know of for actual Fillow, other than the amateur slash. I'd never tip you to that amateur crap, but EVW is pretty well known to adult fandom, has worth as satire, and you seem to appreciate humor, or you would never have suggested Fillow as a possibility.

Plus, there are like.. boobies!! yah boobies!!

and you dont want to SEE half the stuff that gets passed around at my work.

I'm reserving judgment on Faith's sexuality. Of the Chosen Two, I definitely would have thought of Faith as the most likely to be bisexual or at least to experiment. Like Faith said, I chose the wrong Chosen One. Shocked the heck out of me. Characters change. Faith may or may not change her ideas regarding her own sexuality. Any character might.

Honestly, I'm not even sure sexuality matters in the Buffyverse. I mean, are we going to start calling Xander Demonsexual? Is Buffy Vampsexual? lol. There are so many different types and degrees of humans and demons in the Buffyverse, that by contrast, simple gender differences (or similarities) between humans seem... kinda bland and boring.
