Is it snowing anywhere else?

Is snow falling where anyone else is?

Im uber happy cuz i opened the curtains this morning and guess what? We have snow!!! Yaaay!! It's not really heavy but theres definetly enough to have a snowball fight with!

And the best thing is, it isn't done yet. It's still falling. Which means it COULD get really heavy by the time it's over!

Which might mean no college tomorrow, whopee!

Does anyone else have lovely snow?
 
Well myself and Cordelia are in the Midlands, and it's sort of been on and off all morning, but it's not settling. 🙁

I've been promising the kids for ages that if it snow's I'd take them out in it, but there's still hope yet!! 😀
 
We had a blizzard in Scotland which stopped about 20 minutes ago, its thick already and no doubt it will be back.
 
It was snowing this morning for about two minutes 🙁 Now its raining and everywhere is wet, so even if it does snow again it won't stick.

I really wanted it to snow here, because then I wouldn't have to drive to uni 🙁
 
It's settled here on the east coast and is quite thick. From what I've heard it's us in the Northeast and Scotland who have got it worst. Traffic chaos has ensued. It's been sleeting/snowing on and off for most of the morning.

However, listening to the radio on the slow journey into work this morning, I heard that it was -35 in Nova Scotia so it makes our -2 look a bit lightweight...I imagine east coast US is pretty cold as well. We Brits are a right bunch of softies when it comes to bad weather🙂 "Nancy tribe" indeed...
 
Well here in crappy old Barrow it snowed for about 2 mins and htne stopped 🙁 i really want it to snow i LOVE snow!! but it never snows here the last time it properly did was about 8 years ago
 
I live in frickin' Canada! There's bloody snow everywhere and we got another 15cm (6 inches) last frickin' night. The snowbanks are so high they're becoming a traffic hazard, and blowing snow is causing whiteouts on the bloody highways...and you want this crap? Ok, I'll sacrifice to the snow gods for you!

Quite happy just looking at photos of pretty winter scenes. The reality is never as attractive is it? - please don't make any sacrifices on my account 🙂
I'd much rather be somewhere warm and sunny. Like I said earlier we Brits are rubbish at bad weather compared to you guys who get it every year.
 
Well the blizzards started up again and shows no signs of stopping.

Luckily i'm off uni this week, have lots of dvds to keep me amused and currently tucked up in bed with a large mug of tea that resembles a soup bowl and trying to keep warm.
 
Yeah, it's snowing here too (Midlands, UK) and my mad hubby and 3 of the kids have just gone for a walk in it because they thought it would be 'a fun thing to do'...
 
There was a wicked thunderstorm at about 1 o'clock here and then about an hour later it started snowing. I was driving in it....🙁 It was like a little mini blizzard....ok...it wasn't that bad...but it was pretty heavy. It didn't stick though 🙁 So it looks like I'm in uni tomorrow...damn 😉

Faith, have you had some really bad blizzards up there, like loosing your electricity and being pretty much stuck where you are?
 
Yeah, it snowed here today. Enough to close school and postpone midterms! yes!

We have had in the past, I liked it well I did and I didn't. I keep the laptop charged so that would entertain me for an hour, and i'm a candle person so I have tonnes and I mean tonnes of candles over 200 little tea lites candles in holders big candles lanterns with candles.

Its a wonder i've not burned the place down. Well ok there was this fire when I was little that wasn't really my fault but thats another story and not for this thread.
 
It just stopped snowing in NYC-it started snowing yesterday at about 5PM, and went through the night, stopping again at 9 AM this morning. I think we had about 6-8 inches of it 🙂 All I know is it looks GORGEOUS outside! I love the snow before it gets all slushy and nasty looking!
