(Not sure if this thread is in the right spot but,)

I watched the whole series of Firefly, a long time ago. I remember bits of it... But I don't remember it as a whole, (if that makes any sense lol.)

I feel being a bit older and analystic, if I was to watch the series again, I could feel differently.

I'm a big Joss work fan so, I'm considering buying the entire Firefly series. Is the series worth buying? How good is it, really?

Yes!
The short answer is "Hell, yes!" - if only to get to see it in the order it was meant to be broadcast 🙂

I'll leave it to other Firefly fans to give long answers 🙂

BTW - don't forget to buy Serenity as well 🙂

I dont know if id watch it as much as buffy and angel, but i enjoy it enough (my ex had it and we watched the whole thing). I was thinking of getting it eventually too, especially because i often see it on sale for $20-$25 and really thats great i mean same price as like a single dvd here.

Im interested in what others have to say too.

As a fan, I think it is worth it. My hubby got it for me for my birthday in December (have no clue how much it was, though). I just finally sat down and watched them all and completely fell in love with the whole show. So much so that I immediately started re-watching it, lol. I don't have the movie on DVD...yet. It was on last night so I stopped what I was doing and watched it...again (like the 15the time I've seen the movie).

I just got it last month, and it's worth it. It's not that expensive, and it's a pretty decent show (had potential to be a great show at least) it's just too bad that it didn't get to go any further than it did. I say go buy it.

I had decided to rent it before I bought it just in case, because I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it.
I really enjoyed it, it is now on my top 5 show lists. I did buy it in the end because I couldn't imagine not having it. I would say tho, try to buy it off ebay or something where it might be cheaper. Not that it's not worth full price or anything but I don't want to tell you it is and you feel different.
I would say rent it first. Give it a go and then see if you want to own it.

On a scale of one to ten, Buffy being a twelve, Firefly is a ten.

It's definitely a worthwhile buy and you'll enjoy it!
