Is Juliet Landau's accent real?

Right now I'm having a season 2 of Buffy rewatch and I wanna know; is Juliet Landau's accent real?

Nope, it's fake. She's from California and if you watch an interview with her, you can hear how she really sounds. 🙂

The first time I heard her real accent it was odd. Not as odd as Alexis Denisof's, mind you.

Nope, it's a work. I listened to an interview with her and James Marsters recently and it was really odd hearing her with an American voice (same with James, now that I think about it).
