I watched the final five eps of Angel and really loved it. I watched it before I got into Buffy. I bought the Chosen Collection and prefer to get a full collection of Angel if they have it. Is there one? Or is one coming??

Sometimes Amazon.com offers discounts on the Angel and Buffy (R1) boxsets and cheaper versions of them (called SlimSets) are now released as well so it wouldn't be such a bad idea to just buy the seasons separately. Amazon also offers a "season 1 to 5" option for $149.99 (all 5 individual season sets) and for example you can get season 1 for just $24.99 and season 2 for $17.99 check it out!
 
We definitely need an Angel collection in Region 1. Something classy, to go with the Buffy chosen collection.

The Buffy set only hit a year or so ago, so I wouldn't be surprised if an Angel one hits a year from now. 🙂
 
Oh i think I would crap my pants if they came out with an Angel set. I would be sooo happy!
 
Yeah, it doesn't really make any sense why they haven't released it here yet...people would buy it, so why not?
 
Region one is for the Us and possibly some other places not sure. We have never gotten a region one box set. DVD's are made different around the world, so that is why you get Region 1 Region 2 blah blah. I think Region 2 has an Angel boxset (full series) and thankfully we are finally getting one in October here in the "Good of US of A" as Anya would say.

I really want to get the box set to go with my Buffy box set but I don't really have $100. 🙁

Does anyone no what special features their going to have on the box set? Buffy's had some pretty cool ones. (I wished there were more, though!)
 
One of the benefits of living in Australia, as the population is so small there's no financial benefits to not releasing the DVDs, box sets etc they've been available for a while now.
 
I have all the seasons of Angel already but seperate. I am debating on whether or not to get it to go with my Chosen collection, which is a beauty. I would love to have the box sets of my two favorite shows. Well my favorite show (buffy) and it's runner up. 😉
 
i do not own any of the seasons nor did i even finish watching the series originally... got through to 3, started 4, and just was busy busy busy (it was my senior year of high school).

But... im considering this set. Ive mentioned it to my boyfriend a load of times but he refuses to buy me anything buffy or angel for my birthday (which is next month). He accepts i love the stuff, he refuses to be the giver of whedonverse stuff (cuz he's stupid). I wish i had the money to pre-order it on amazon as it is 97.99 there and when it goes full price it'll be around $135 i believe. but, jobless college students cannot afford much.
