I was checking out www.tfaw.com & it had # 4 June 2007 & # 5 Aug 1.
What's up with this? Is it just a type or is there a break? I hope not! #6 even says Sep 05.
 
Yeah, taking a break. Then Joss's standalone issue. Then the Brian Vaughan Faith arc.

Thought I read somewhere that most if not all of the arcs are gonna be four issues, followed by a standalone. Makes sense, in terms of packaging the TPB's I guess.
 
I cannot wait for the one in november. First 5 issues in one book, commercial free. It's going to be nice.
The Faith arc, I am just dying for that. The cover is amazing.
 
I sorta doubt it. Season 8 already runs in the time frame that would've been Season 9 if it were still on the telly. And the series was changed from a 22-25 issue maxi-series to an ongoing series (if I'm not mistaken) meaning they don't plan on ending the series.

Which is ok, I guess. Kind of weird, an ongoing series, but then I guess they should not have called it season 8 if they don't plan on doing a season 9? Maybe they could have called it Buffy continued...which of course doesn't sound good at all.
 
I like that they call it season 8, makes it really obvious that it's strongly conneted to the TV show, doesn't really matter to me that it will be a very long season.
 
I'm sure they'll stop calling it season 8 as time goes by. Then it will just be Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics that are canon. You get what I'm saying?

I'm gonna upset that there is no July comic but the Omnibus Volume 1 is already out so that will hold me down for a month.
