Is there any news that Buffy will guest in Angel next season

SoooooConfused! Sorry if it has already been asked but does anyone know if Buffy will be guest staring in Angel? I know Spike will be there but i dont know if Buffy will be. N how is spike coming back to life? Who else is gonna be guesting from buffy
 
Joss and SMG are talking about it,she would want to make a guest appearnce so they are trying to talk out a schedule

I have nothing to go on but industry gossip, but I don't know how soon SMG will show up on Angel. It's a post-partum thing about moving away from her TV persona (goofy though to me... would she rather be recognized as Daphne from Scooby-Doo?!). My educated guess is SMG may show up on Angel, but not before next May's sweeps.

Well... first you get a 12 oz glass of water and two tablespoons of powdered Spike... stir well 😉

Kidding aside - I think the key to his resurrection is the amulet's protective power, or the machinations of the staff at Wolfram & Hart. The amulet could afford Spike a kind of mystical protection. If so, his dusting may be followed by a resurrection come nightfall (remember how Buffy dusted Dracula twice? Maybe he had a no-soul-required version!).... OR...Wolfram & Hart know how to bring back a dusted vamp (see Darla), but she was brought back as a human.

The smart money would be the Wolfram and Hart route, but right now I'm no better informed than you are.

All the better to revisit the franchise. In fact, Buffy alums could cross over to Angel, provided it gets renewed. There was no final decision on that at press time, but Gellar says she'd "absolutely" consider a guest appearance and offers, "We've already talked about one for next year, but everything is a matter of timing and story."

Does anyone remember the Shanshu prophecy? It was mentioned that Wolfram & Hart brought back Darla as human, wouldn't the obvious way to bring Spike back be to have him regain his humanity? Don't know about you but I think he deserves it.
 
Joss already knows that people are predicting Spike's resurrection from the Shanshu prophecy, so he might take it an entirely different direction. In terms of SMG appearing on Angel, she said she would but not anytime soon. Amy Acker (Fred) said that they're planning on bringing Alyson Hannigan back on Angel for atleast two episodes next season. I'm sure Alexis Denisof will help her in this.
 
i dont think that spikes reserection is going to be based on the shanshu proficy. the whole dame thing is to contraversal to mess with, no matter who gets to be the proficized vampire there will be a huge fan uproar towards the fans who disagree. this will be angels last season so i think they will come up with something that is totaly different that keeps most of the fans happy so then when angel is done it ends on a high note

im not sure if i want next season to start because every week i will be counting down the number of episodes left and im still trying to recouperate from buffy ending
 
I hope buffy and some fo the othe cast are on a few episodes this next season it'd be good closure...
