Is there any way to NOT see things in Recent Activity?

Is there a way to remove certain notifications from Recent Activity? A way to avoid seeing updates of some threads?

You can unfollow the thread and that'll stop notifications. Just click unfollow in the top right of the thread.

I don’t think there is a way for the recent activity section, but unfollowing individual threads is possible.

Thanks, kids. 🙂 But I'm not following those threads...either way, I'll just learn to scroll past the notifications faster. 😛

I thought this was just me! I played with the settings but haven't figured out how to turn them off. For example any thread that I now comment in, it automatically subscribes me to it, even though I didn't press 'watch thread'.
