Yeah, cause I didn't. I've been wondering this for awhile actually. Am I the only one who found it extremely creepy and painful to watch? And it's not even because I don't like Briley...even though I don't. It's just that there was no sexy-ness to it and it was just kind of scary and...meh to watch. Do you think it was supposed to be sexy? You would think it would have been, since it was their only real plotline in the entire episode.

Everybody elses part was great though, I'm just saying. It's not a terrible episode but I just thought I'd ask. And I'm bored. Anything to procrastinate studying.

pretty much skip it every time
I don't think it was supposed to be sexy. However, I don't know what it actually was supposed to be. This episode was probably one of my least favorites, I liked Beer Bad more than this one. It, to me, was just plain boring.

Anyways, if they were shooting for sexy, they missed. Really missed.

I agree. Beer Bad is much better than this one. They're both written by the same person, incidentally.
Now, 'Smashed', that is sexy. 😀

Wel, you know, the last 5 minutes. 😀

*waits for Bangels to come contradict me*

Haha! Too true. I found the begining of 'Wrecked' rather sexy too. :)

Nothing screams sexy more than crumbling paster and rubble. /Token Bangel response :D

I always give my partner bloody contusions before sex. It's the ultimate turn on. ;)
I think it is. What's wrong with Briley people? 😀 It turned me off a little when he grabs her over the blanket. So unrealistic.

The only thing wrong with Briley was Buffy. :P She didn't love him like that, anyways, yeah, that was SO unrealistic
Yeah, I like the episode too reasonably. And, in regard to the 'what's wrong with Briley?' comment. I'm not going to answer specifically. I don't MIND them. There are just some aspects in their relationship that bug me. I just don't like it.

I didn't find the sex in this episode sexy.

I can't remember exactly what episode it is, damn it! Maybe Goodbye Iowa or the I in Team. Or maybe even the initiative... ( I always get those three confused). Anyway, the episode where the fight scene of Buffy and Riley is intercut with their first time is a-maz-ing. So, so hot! Come to think of it, probably my second favourite sex scene after smashed!

I in team, and yeah, one of the hottttest scenes!

Was only watching that earlier today- I think the music over it makes it something different too.
i think it's meant to portray *lost to lust* as the old lady calls it. Which isn't really that exciting when it happens to you*, never mind having to watch someone else.

I watched this again yesterday, and was "oh no all that boring sex" in trepidation but was surprised that there didn't seem to be as much as i remembered (or did i go and make coffee?), and quite enjoyed the episode.

And suddenly I'm seeing a whole new show, "Lost To Lust" -- srsly. We should write or ya know, at least pitch it. ;)
You guys know that I like Riley & Briley, but I agree that the sex in this episode is meh (although not terrible), as compared to The I in Team. As Cait says:

Love this post LOL!

I really agree. That's what I found unsexy about it (apart from the obvious nature of the episode). I know that they had ratings to attain to and all that but yeah, what couple (especially one magically compelled to get nekkid and make with the nasty) are going to grope each other through the sheets?!?

LOL I know, right??
To be honest, I would be shocked if anyone did find that episode sexy... the sexiest part of that episode was probably Giles' singing.

I agree, so much.

I forgot about that part! The only part I liked at all about the episode lol. I've skipped it too many times during rewatches.

Ok, so back in the day, like 8 years ago, when I first watched Buffy, I thought Riley was like the hottest guy in the entire Buffyverse. *ducks for gunfire* Not anymore though...

My favorite part of this episode is when they're pleading with the ghosts and Willow tells them to 'get over it', lol.

oh my...this episode. Not sexy. Yes Riley is attractive but the episode is odd...and like The Void68 said Giles singing was the sexiest part. Don't know that that is a good thing.

I don't think it was meant to be sexy. The two of them were just very horny and had a lot of sex. It didn't need to be romantic or anything 😛
