I want to know if this is the last season. I was under the impression that it was. Then I read that Sarah might leave this season and there might be another....

So, what's the deal?
 
alls i heard was that sarah hadn't signed on for series 8 but the other had (apart from giles and anya) and so they were going to try and make the series without her. my guess? if they do that then who will replace her? Dawn.
 
If they do that, they'll have to replace me. I don't think I will watch. I mean, I like Dawn but not that much. If Faith was the replacement, yeah, I'd watch in a heartbeat. I know that will never happen though. Even if it did, the show would still not be the same. Going on with Buffy without Buffy is like The X-Files going on without Mulder... it just doesn't work.
 
I agree. Sarah is what makes this show what it is...without her, the show would be nothing...If Buffy continues without Sarah, I don't think Ill be watching either..
 
I'm too addicted to the show to not watch. I trust Joss completely, after all he has never let me down before.

Joss has NEVER let you down?? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Joss isn't wonderful, he is. But I wanna know what you mean by this...nothing has bugged the heck out of you? Angel and Buffy splitting? Oz leaving? Tara dying? Spikes and Buffy's on again off again relationship? The magic=drugs thing?

Or maybe you mean that there have been huge disappointments, but Joss still tells a dang good story. Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there.

I was wondering the same thing. I mean, yeah, Joss is great! No doubt about that. However, there have been let downs. A few that you have mentioned have left a bad taste in my mouth.
 
Yes they will probably go on even without or with a minimized role of SMG. They will probably replace her as main character by either Dawn or Faith (Marti Noxon's favourite for this role). I hope they pick faith she's cool. Dawn's a little pest. But with Eliza being all tied up with movies, I dunno wether she will take it. But hey she is coming back this Season so why not also next season Full-Time ? Well thumbs up for her taking it!
 
I second that. If it is truely possible for Faith to be the new lead.. I'm all for it. If that is the cast I really hope Eliza does the role! Here's hopin.
 
It'll be either her or Dawn ... so we be all go thumbs up for Eliza, because DAWN ...@#$%^!!!
