Just thinking away here since im bored and watching Buffy right now and thinking of The Wish.

I find it somewhat funny/ironic that the scoobies basically end up killing each other in the alternate world, and I wish this somewhat played into further seasons(although I suppose you could say it played into Season4 since that is when we see the Scoobies braking up)

so anyone have any thoughts? comments on this?
 
i found it pretty interesting that they did this, all the charcters were so different from who they really were, and although they didn't really play to much into it, i think each of the charcters at one point showed alittle bit of the alternate reality's character's personality
 
I don't think there was a lot based around that in the future....but it was really disconcerting to see them all killing each other in slow-mo in the AU when they're normally so close....
 
It shows what a big part Buffy plays in her friends life.

Thinking about it, Xander and Willow kill Cordy. In season 2 it was brought to our attention that Willow and Xander were part of the 'We Hate Cordelia Club.'

Oz kills Willow, who in the real world was the love of his life. In the future episodes it shows that Willow might be gay...but she doesn't initiate the break up, Oz does by leaving. We already know that Joss likes to plan way ahead...so this might have been a taste of what was to come.

Xander kills Angel. In the real world they have always hated each other and it has been something that Xander has wanted for a long time.
 
In Buffy we got to see alternate realitys, but something which was not explored was going back to the past & going into the future. After rewatching early seasons of Charmed I discovered that happened a lot, do you think it would of been neat if we went into the past and the future on Buffy???

Not to mention, Xander in fact was partly to blame for Angel's previous death.

To me it wouldnt be that intresting, thats the difference between the shows we have flashbacks and they travel back. Buffy already time traveled once during S7. And Charmed did those to reveal more about the charecters which they needed.
 
Travelling back and forth in time is always bringing a lot of confusion, so I'm glad that except Holtz, there was none of it. The cave men in s7 wasn't time travelling!
 
Buffy is one of those shows which wouldn't work with the whole past & future thing, it would of been a neat thing to see, but it would not of meant a lot. Anyway get back on topic, I kinda drifted it off, although it was revelant in some way.
 
I always though it was ironic (well, maybe not ironic, but weird).... that in the end, no matter what... The Master still killed Buffy. No matter what, she still did die by the Master's hands.

I also think it's weird about Oz dusting Willow.
 
In The Wish Buffy also kills Xander. Out of all the scoobies these two always seem to have the worst arguements. They argue in Becoming, Dead Man's Party and Revelations.
