--That all the scoobies seemed to accept the fact that Spike is "insane" (I do not think he is)and living in the basement of the school ,But yet none of them question the reason "why"? I think that is strange behavior for the scoobies.

Note: only person who know about Spike soul is Buffy and Anya.


--Xander- in beneath you- Xander sat back while Spike insult Buffy and pound on Anya. Xander usually is the first one to react to Spike. So, why sit on the sideline?

--That in STSP Willow and Buffy both call Giles, (we could tell that Willow and Buffy were on the same time schedule)
yet, Giles did not mention a meeting with the council to Buffy.



::idea::::evil2::The two Buffy in "Selfish". I notice that a lot of people speculates that Spike might had been hallucinate seeing Buffy in the basement. But than I realize Both buffy had the same hairstyle. Spike could not have known that to be able to imagine that. he did not see Buffy. I also notice that all of the morphy/spirits who had) appeared to Spike had been dead. The compassionate and patient Buffy who was wearing a white shirt is the old Buffy. the one that died in season 5. The Buffy dress in black is all that is left. Slayer Buffy.
her human side died, and what willow brought back was not Buffy ,But all slayer. Spike is seeing buffy's spirit.

I think Xander not reacting was more of him being in shock to find out Anya was responsible for a turning a guy into a killer-worm-demon. Plus she could clearly take care of herself in that sitch. I think the Scoobies have been too caught up in their own stuff to stop and wonder about Spike and his what & why.

Interesting theory. Most importantly you noticed that Buffy fits the 'dead' criteria. And white was what she was wearing when she died. However, i can't imagine the modern buffy telling Spike (out of the blue) that it's all about power. At least she had a motive when she told that to dawn...

The last Buffy seen in Selfless fit the dialogue of the shapeshifter, not the dialogue of Buffy.
