Issues & Volumes Question

Hi all, I haven't been on for ages due to computer troubles. So hello everyone! And I have a question.

I have only just gotten around to collecting Angel: After the Fall (so please don't post spoilers here!), and I'm a bit confused.

I understand that volumes are hardcover versions collecting a few issues and some extras, but I was wondering; are the issues in the hardcover volumes identical to the ordinary issues? Thanks!

I'm not a 100% sure, but I think that some of the small errors of the individual issues were fixed in the collected version. Like text-balloons that point ambiguously now point to only one person. And shirt-colours that change between panels, now stay the same.

So, it's only cosmetic changes!

Great, thanks! As Allycat isn't 100% sure, can anyone confirm that? I'd prefer the hardcovers, but want to make sure that I am getting the same content in the same order. Of course, the cosmetic changes like Allycat mentioned are fine! =D
