It is becoming an issue again

Some new members are of the opinion that using letters instead of words is acceptable.
Why? I hate that sort of thing, I will ignore any post with that in it.

Some new members refers to any member who has joined in the last twenty years, (that will get me out of naming names)

I myself prefer not to resort to looking up acronyms on Google constantly, but it is the way nowadays!
