When Angel and everyone come back from Pileah (didnt spell that right at all...) is it this season where when they get back Willow is in Angel Inc. and Angel goes "It's Buffy..."
I thought that they both looked upset. We just saw the initial reaction Angel had to the sight of crying Willow. Willow had been there, obviously for a little while. The minuet Angel saw her, he just knew...
Cordy's face falls, but not literally. I know that some B/A shippers were upset that Joss didn't allow the viewers more knowledge of his reaction to Buffy's death...

After the events of "The Gift," Willow goes to L.A. to tell Angel about Buffy's death. Alyson Hannigan also guest-stars on Angel S2's "Disharmony" when Cordy calls Willow.
I think Joss should've allowed more screen time for Angel's grief over Buffy. That would've been great since crossovers weren't allowed that season.
I would have prefered to see more of Angel's reaction to learning about Buffy's death.
Another scene like that, where I thought it would have been better to see more of Angel's reaction was in the episode The Bachelor Party in season 1, when Doyle has the vision about Buffy.
I think the season 2 ending is very moving though.
I would love to see more about Angel's Buffy-missage in "The Bachelor's Party," too, but they're separate shows, so Angel can't rely on Buffy, much. Really, all I needed to see in "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb" was Willow's expression when she stood up...
it wouldve been nice to see both Angel and Cordys reaction more to a certain extent but hey Joss couldve just given us a phone call where Angel and co. get back to the hotel, they hear the phone ring, Cordy or Angel picks it up and we hear willow say "Its Buffy".
But Angel may be part of the Buffyverse its still its own show and what happened to Buffy shouldnt take away that much screen time from the episode.
I can't really make up my mind on this one. I really liked how Joss wrote it and what little we got. I think the actors played it really well and it gave just enough to get the point across.
However, as a B/A shipper I was very disappointed that we didn't get to see Angel's reaction in detail.
If I didn't love the episode so much I probably would have been mad 😉
