Nope I don't feel sad I'm a single mum with no babysitting support so most Friday nights are spent here, and Saturday nights lol 😛

I've got end of year coursework and exam revision to do so don't really have the time to go out. If I'm not working I'm usually just chilling at home as my night out is saturday really- don't have the budget to be going out more than once every so often.

3)Sometimes my husband and I choose to bum around at home watching movies etc instead of going out

It's 22:03 on a Friday and I'm on BB, a Harry Potter forum, eating chocolate, and watching Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. And I have no regrets.

It's 5PM here too, so not Friday "night" yet. I don't have many friends so my Friday's are usually filled with Nikita at 8 and Supernatural at 9. And if my mom's not tired, Castle (in French) at 10.

I myself went to the cinema today to see wrath of the Titans, and will be spending the rest of the night doing a project for college, (If I can motivate myself to start!)
I'm also about to watch the Disney Hercules movie, I have a weird urge to watch it since seeing Titans!

Yeah actually wasn't bad, I didn't like the first one, thought it was pretty bad. But this was really good, interesting story, awesome effects, and no dodgy 3D that was thrown in your face the whole time!

Yeah this friday evening is pretty boring. I wait untill tomorror night where I will meet some friends and watch films all night! So now I am trying to learn the gitarr. Playing little songs and beeing online. Nice thread.

The thing is, I live in a student town and it's exam week. Not for me right now, cos I'm doing an internship, but until next week not a lot of parties are going down, except for tomorrow (when I'll probably be gone all night 😛).
It's really dependent on exam schedules here, exam week and the week before are usually just dead, whereas the first weeks of new courses are basically a non stop party.

Actually, tonight there IS a party, but it was a) 11 euro's entrance charge that didn't really motivate us and b) I came home from a bbq at 10:30pm and still had to shower, do makeup etc. and everyone else was also kinda tired so we just decided to make tonight an early night and go on all night tomorrow.

Oh and another point, in a student town, Friday/Saturday is pretty irrelevant. Asides from Sunday, when the entire town is always dead, there's parties basically every day. It's pretty cool, but sometimes you just really need a break, like, when you notice you've been going out every single day for like an entire month.


In general, I DO like to go out and party, though. Sitting home alone is not for me.

The great New Zealand past time is binge drinking on the weekends. I don't drink and I really hate being around drunk people so I was in on Friday night.

I have work early saturdays, and have outgrown the whole going to work hungover with no sleep phase of my life. Especially since I work with screaming children. Much nicer to go in well rested and headache free!

I dont go out much at all these days. I just dont feel the need for it anymore. Im much more content hanging out with my boyfriend then I am at wild parties. Sure a party every so often is needed, but not every weekend.

I usually spend it on computer or reading. I usually can't get myself to go to sleep early EVER. I always have to wake up early for work the next day.

I went over to my friend's house earlier but I'm so tired for some reason, ugh. After that I went to Trader Joe's with my sister and my mom and got tons of food, we're having movie night tonight...apparently. I used to go out every Friday night back in the day. That seems so weird and impossible now because these days I'm ready to hit the hay as soon as....my first class is over.

Due to the fact that I live in a teeny town and am married with children (meheh) I don't often go out at night anymore. So tonight I was happy being home, cooking for my family, playing, giving baths, putting kids to bed, and then spending time with the husband.
