It's taken me long enough.

I think that's why I can't get into it, it has no season long baddie and I really like those type of episodes, although I'm not against the standalone ones (some of my more favorite episodes of Buffy are standalone). I just like having an ongoing baddie to face sometime near the end of the season. Yes it happens every season of Buffy, but still, it's a formula I dig.
 
Ahhh why does every one critisise angel it rules. I wish people would commit to watching somthing get on with it THEN judge it thats what wrong with people who critise Buffy after not watching it at all and it doesnt have to be as good as Buffy just so long as its enjoyable. 🙁

I couldn't disagree more. If something is so bad that they can't get through the first part, then it is bad, plain and simple. Sure later parts could be amazing, but that doesn't make the show perfect. It has flaws, and denying these flaws only leads to blind fanboy/girl whining about how its the best thing ever and everyone is wrong. If you don't believe me take a look at some of the Nintendo fan posts, good god.

I hate to break it to you, Angel has got some flaws, and some bad writing, thus making it something less than the best show ever. I do not need to watch the whole show to tell you that.

All this being said, I'm in the middle of season 2 of Angel, and it's pretty damn good.
