Ok when it come to computers I have about as much knowledge as Giles so BB I need you help. For Christmas my sister, neice and brother-in-law all got ipods, cool huh? not really cuz they are all working off my iTunes. So what I want to know is, how do I set up seperate files or whatever for their ipods so they can have their own iTunes as such and stop messing up mine!

Hm, are their iPod different from yours?
I've got two - 2 Gbs nano, and 80 gbs. They open separate Itunes profiles and playlists.
Well, you can always add new profile for their iPod with new folder of music storage on hdd. ( That's why I quit using iTunes and use winamp 5.5 instead - it supports ipod, but I don't have to keep all music on hdd).

Yup, but they should open different profiles - iTunes does recognize different ipods.

God I suck at this! I have already hit a wall...how do I transfer songs from my itunes into the new folders? I tried doing what I do when I make a playlist which is basically drag the song down but it's not allowing me to do that here.

hm. wait a second. Drop and drag doesn't work? Did you created normal or smart playlist?
try edit song's info - like you have smart playlist - Autumn melodies - in song Info youwish to add there write in Comments - Autumn and in preferenses of Autumn melodies playlist - put - sort by comments.. Song will add authomatically.
also if song in the library - on your ipod it'll appear after you synchronize your iPod with iTunes, but I guess you're already aware about that.
Use smart playlists - it's fun and suitable thing. you can sort your music by artist, song title, album , whatever! - so you won't have to scroll through like 1000 songs..
