Okay, no I haven't. But it feels like I have.

I've noticed in the last while when I go to check things on the internet I am done allot faster then I have been before, but I don't think I've been checking out any less amount of stuff.

I had the most ridiculously lazy Sunday yesterday, where I spent 12 hours on YouTube, watching related video after related video and suddenly 12 hours had passed!

But I was wondering what does everyone use the internet for?

I have a regular routine of checking BB, After-Darkness, then check my Facebook. I'll also check out TV.com, then Gizmodo and Engadget (blogs for gadgety stuff).

Sometimes I'll check out TV by the numbers and SuperHeroHype for TV news and Super hero movie/tv news, and boards.ie (an Irish boards that covers everything)

I don't really check out my email accounts or Twitter anymore as I have both on my phone, so my emails come in when I get them, and I check twitter in an app.

So was wondering how you use the internet, and what you check out when you come online?
 
Haha, you're totally right! I mostly check my facebook first, then BB and two smaller forums that I'm a member of (LotR and football), then my StudiVZ (German facebook version) and the Guardian Book Blog. If I can be bothered at all, I check the Bookseller, gumtree and craigslist for job offers, but that's it - mostly I'm done after an hour. And then I keep refreshing pages, shouting at my comp ("Do something, internet! DO SOMETHING!") and hitting stupid pages like omegle and, yes, watching random vids on youtube. On closer inspection, really really sad.
 
Like BEG, I (normally) have email and Twitter on my phone, so I don't have to check them when I log on.

So, basically, I log on, head straight to Facebook and do whatever I need to do there. Then I'll stop by BB, and check in on everything I have going on, make sure I'm up to date with what's happening in Merrick and so on. Then I'll check my website and reply to any comments I have, and then I'll spend a while on LJ before I check out my friends' websites...and that's about it.
 
As soon as i get home from school its email, facebook and then BB and i have a weird habit of typing all of my favourite shows and actors into Google News about once a week to see whats going on. It all sounds trivial, except for BB of course, but i could not live without the internet. It would be impossible.
 
I get on comp, check BB and some other forum, livejournal and twitter. 😀

only takes me about an hour or hour and half to check lj.
 
I dont have facebook 😀 First thing i check is my youtube inbox and subscriptions, watch some new movie trailers and search random music. Then I check my twitter and BB 😀 Ive recently got into the habbit of reading celebs IMDB profiles and then I'll watch some random film from there filmography untill ive seen everything there in.
 
I check my email (although yes I can do that on my phone), check BB, and a number of other boards I'm on (mostly parenting boards, but I frequent those less often nowadays). I'm on Facebook, too, and I spent awhile on it yesterday setting up a new page for an organization I help lead. I'm not very technosavvy so it took me awhile to do it, and find a bunch of links & invite people to it, etc. I do often read other websites, blogs and research articles related to that organization.
 
I check BB, twitter (although my phone does that pretty well), facebook, now generally teendrama-boards, and usually one other thing (sometimes its a Taylor Swift board... sometimes it's something else... right now it's tunespill). I used to check my email but now my phone does that so well I have no reason...
 
I go in and check my email, go into to Youtube, I only have one subscription, I mostly use Youtube for music, trailers and watching clips from tv shows, I actually started watching Oz on Youtube beacuse someone uploaded the first 3 seasons there and I got addicted 😀 I go into Imdb to see who's birthday it is 😛 and for some news, and then BB.
Mostly I use internet for school and for ordering stuff, I buy a lot of movies.

I don't use facebook or twitter.
 
When I come online I tend to check Facebook and Twitter first, then I head on over to my forum, then I usually hit People.com and a few news websites. Both in English and in Finnish and then I come on to BB and check out my emails. My websites and fansites tend to be last but it usually only takes half an hour for me these days. It depends on how much the sites have been updated.
 
The majority of time I am on BB of course. The rest of the time is divided between email, reading news stories I want to read, occasionally shopping online, and other misc tasks.
That is pretty much it. lol 🙂
 
I have a routine down as well. I check my gmail, Facebook and BB daily. If I have a little time on my hands then I check the LA Times (I mostly read the sports section), ESPN, my tumblr, LJ, twitter and there are a few blogs I read (that I will check about once a week). All in all it only takes me a little less than on hour each day to check the main things; unless I get sucked into youtube, I can get lost there for hours.
 
I spend too much time on the Internet, and I actually need to try and cut back on it, I waste my life online, seriously. I used to spend most of my time on Facebook and MSN, but now I have neither, so it's generally Twitter, the BB, Skype and some roleplaying forums. There's also Youtube, and every few days I check my emails, though neither of those are as frequent. When I get really bored I'll simply surf the Internet, and end up in sites like Tumblr, MLIA and WikiHow...I need to spend less time online, seriously.
 
Man I spend wayyyyyyyy too much time on the interwebz.

I used to have a routine of checking Facebook, twitter, and BB. Then I got the iPhone. I can do all of that on there, but I hate the compact views so I usually can't wait to get home and play on my computer. It's so bad, that i've called off work a few times because of it 🙁 Then I discovered Stumbleupon. Don't get it guys if you value your life!!

When I get up the first thing I do is check my emails, FB and Twitter on my iTouch. If there is nothing too pressing on any of those I tend to leave getting on my laptop for a long while, sometimes days if I'm not bothered.

When I do log on my laptop I check my college email, then my regular mail, BB, Twitter, LJ and a Bangel forum I'm a member of. After that I'll hit up a few news sites and head over to Youtube to check out that week's promos for the shows I watch. And that's about it. 🙂
 
I normally spend about seven hours a day on the Net. Two hours in the morning, three at night. (i Don't watch tv anymore, I just record it now)

I check out BB, Facebook (I hate Twitter) Farmville but I've decided to quit Farmville sometime this year. Some blogs, an X-Files forum and a couple of other forums.
 
Outside of work, this is the only site I visit... which is usually only once evey day or two. I don't use Facebook or Twitter and any emails go straight to my phone. I've never even had an online friend. I think I'm doing the internet wrong!

OMG. I love you Black Eye Guy.:confused3: The internet is a bad bad place!!! ha ha Just kidding, its not addictive, or time warping, or mind zapping! Not at all. Facebook, Buffy Boards, and Hotmail are all I need!:smoke3:
 
I spend a lot of time on the computer. Mostly on here or Youtube or another forum. I'm a vidder so I spend way too much time on youtube. Watching my friends vids and other random fanvids lol. I also spend too much time on twitter.
