IWRY Marathon 2010

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that the 7th annual I Will Remember You Fic Marathon will be starting up this coming Monday, 1 November.

I'm sure many of you are familiar with this B/A fest already but just in case you aren't it was set up in 2004 by B/A fans who wanted to celebrate B/A in fic and what better time of year than November, the month that gave us IWRY!

The way it works is that each day of November a new fic is posted. Some of the absolute greatest works from our fandom have been written for this ficathon so you know you'll be in for a treat. In fact, I know that several of the very best B/A writers around, past and present, are contributing this year.

So, if you're on LJ and not part of the community, join now! If you aren't on LJ don't forget to pop over on Monday for the first story of the month! I'll post on Monday, just as a reminder!

I have been so glad that I have been able to take part in this marathon and have been impressed with the stories so far. They have been beautiful in their simplicity in capturing the thoughts and feelings of both Buffy and Angel. I can't wait to read the others. 😎 lol

Loved em! Like always. The IWRY marathon is something I look forward to all year round. We are so lucky to have such a stellar ficathon every year. Over Christmas I'll probably go back and re-read and pick my favourites 🙂

I haven't had much time for reading at all lately 🙁 but hopefully I'll find some time over Christmas. If you got a tip for a good read then I'd gladly take it 🙂
