J Ausgusto Richards won't be returning; Booker T to take over his role

I read that J Augusto Richards has quit Angel and that Booker T will be taking over his role.

Is this true at all?

um how about no, he is still on Angel and whoever told you Booker T. would be taking over the role well thats just funny since he would never take over the role and Joss isnt one to replace actors with another one. But yes it is false
 
omg this might also work with the fact that Spike comes back and is a male slayer!! They hear heavy breathing in the white room! 🙄 .

On a more serious note, how about no? 😛 This is clearly false since Joss NEVER replaces an actor.

See I had no idea who Booker T is, its the whole Gunn leaving thing that got me...nah this cant be right. Probably one of those rumors started by Joss himself, he has a habit of doing that.

maybe not main characters, but to say he never does is 100% incorrect.....the Nikki (sp?) in Buffy season 7 is not the Nikki from the season in which you first see her.....the original lady thought she would definetly get the part in season 7, but nope....they picked someone else to do it.....

they only did that because they wanted to show a younger version of Nikki

Believe me Joss wouldnt start this rumor atleast not with Booker T as Gunn they look nothing the same and if you watch Charmed Booker T was on S3 in Wrestleing With Demons, he wrestled Prue and Phoebe

A younger version? That can't be true because the Nikki that we saw in Season 7 was shown fighting Spike... and Spike killed Nikki in the train that we saw in Season 5. The younger version idea doesn't work unless those two fights... the one in the train and the other one in the street...took place in a long time span. Highly doubt it.

True that but her part is hardly considered...Important in any greater terms.
 
The original 'actress' did'nt have to speak. When they wanted to bring back the character in a speaking part, they obviously realised they needed someone who could actually speak...
 
I think that this is one of the funnier "fake spoilers" I've heard for Angel. Yes Booker T, replacing J. August Richards as Gunn, you know becuase they look so much alike. And could you just imagine Booker T doing his famous "scissor kick" on the very next vampire that crossed his path...I think not!
