Did anyone else catch the series premiere of the new WB drama, "Jack & Bobby" ?
I did, and for the first 55 minutes, I was impressed. It seemed like such a good show, then they up-ed and ruined it.
During the previews they would always say "One of these two brothers will be the President of the United States" and I was like "I guess they'll never tell" or "They'll wait to the series finale to give the answer" and boy, was I wrong.
So at the end, they already tell whos going to be President. And that completely ruined it for me. I love the suspense of certain television shows. For instance, the sexual tension on Smallville is the only reason I watch, because I never know when Clarke and Lana are finally gonna hook up!
So I vowed to never watch the show again. Why you say? Because the suspense is gone. I know whats going to happen. How do you do that to a television show.
Let me put this is Buffy-speak:
It would be like if they told in the very first episode of S5 Angel who would shanshu.
