isnt it james bond..... and ewan mcgreggor turned down the role, i think hed make a better bond....
I still think Adrian Lester should have been Bond. THAT would have shook up the franchise and given it a different edge that would have made me want to watch this new movie.
As it stands, Craig does nothing for me as a replacement for Brosnan.

I admit I was pissed that Daniel Craig got the Bond role, but the trailer looks pretty good. Personally, I think Rupert Everett would be perfect, but they would never allow it.

Never liked Bond, and it will take either a very special person or a lot of bribing for me to sit through one. And don't even get me started on tax dodging Connery.

I love James Bond but I think Daniel Craig is a VERY bad choice...come on james bond can't be blond!! lol I would have prefer someone like George Clooney...

Why? Because he's a shirt lifter? He is, right? Or am I thinking of someone else.

There are lots of reasons I despise James Bond. Granted I haven't seen that many, but of what I have seen...

The 'point' of every one I've ever seen seems to be Bond has to stop some megalomaniacal vilain who wants to take over the world.. Bond succeeds.

What type of shitty storytelling is that? Where is the growth? Bond at the end of the movie is the exact same as Bond at the start. Could he not, you know, learn something...about himself, about the world.. ANYTHING.

Or, he gets captured in just about every movie I have seen. They don't kill him. WHAT THE ****?

There's very little continuity, it is just stand alone silly movies.

Bond is idiot 'entertainment' at its worst.
 
I thought my point was quite clear. That you didn't understand it is probably more my fault than yours. I will simplify it as best I can.

The 'average' man is a lot more intelligent than he is ever given credit for. With James Bond you have an opportunity to make something great, why not cater to that instead of assuming your audience won't understand.
 
Ahhh, I love Bond!

I wasn't looking forward to a blonde Bond, goes against my better sensibilities...but I have to say the trailer looks GREAT! They played one before Gridiron Gang and people in the theater were actually cheering. I sat there with a big, dumb grin on my face, thinking, "DAMNNNN! I can't WAIT to see this!"
 
I too enjoy the Bond films...always have. However, I'm not too keen on them having a blond dude play him. Plus the fact that this latest installment is supposed to be an origin story...with a lot of contradictions. I'll probably see it though, just to give it a chance.

I know I'm gonna get shot at for suggesting this...but I think they should have gone with Clive Owen for the Bond role.

Why does everyone love Clive Owen so much? Ugh he's the only person I think could have been a worse choice than Craig.

I don't think I have EVER witnessed a more predictable movie.

Oh, and isn't Bond supposed to be all suave and charming? Stupid smutty innuendo's are what helps Bond get an excess amount of tail??

I'm not going to draw attention to the amount of times he was captured in this movie...oops, just did. The stupid thing with locking Berry's character in the room? JUST SHOOT THE SILLY WOMAN.
I despise anything that portrays evil as stupid.
 
So it seems that there is a new suitor on the block wanting to be the next James Bond...Sean Coombs.
I am not kidding either BotD.
