collectormania 7

this is a weekend filled with loads of guests from sci-fi/ horror shows. its being held in milton keynes on 29th april - 2 may 05. they have announced alexis denisof and james marsters as guests. its not a regular con. but it includes talks and photo/signing sessions.
 
Both James Masters and Alexis Denisof are to appear at collectormania 7 in may for 3 days in Milton Keynes. Admission is free!

Can I move in, I mean seriously. Fricken hell Milton Keynes. Looks like I may be making another treck up there!

Although on the plus if I go to Warwick for uni thats near Coventry and its a half hour train to MK.

no... there is no chance of alyson being there🙁 alexis has done a number of cons and alyson just is'nt there. well she probably is, but she stay's very well hidden. plus to our shame (buffy fans) thats alexis's number 1 question "where's your wife?"🙁

That must make Alexis feel second best or something if thats his most asked question! But It would be nice if Aly made an appearance!

How much do you think thier sigs would be? I'm guessing both would be like £25

that sounds about right.. autographs cost between £15- £25 depending on how big the guest is. so u can b sure james and alexis is gonna cost the most :gift:

Well I think Collectormania as a rule charge between £10-20, so I'd go for that. Considering Nick and the Trio cost £20 each I'd guess James and Alexis will as well.

I think they are doing a talk, hope they do a party because I want to go but wont be able to unless I get a hotel or something. Any cheap ones in MK?

Need to convert a friend into a Buffy fan between now and May so im not all alone.

according to the website they were pre selling tickets for talks/photo's but that has now closed. but u will be able to purchase them on the day : yikes :

i think the rules might change where these 2 r concerned.. hopefully not, but be prepared ::evil1::

I can't recommend any hotels in MK since I've never had to use one thanks to my trusty house 😀

I'm currently in the process of turning my friend Emma into a Buffy fan. She came to the last CM with me and I've given her any spare Buffy video box sets I have when I get the DVDs. I've been trying for about a year now and have made little progress 🙁 Although, she is head over heels in love with James Marsters so I'd be surprised if she declined my invitation to come to this CM with me!

This is gonna cost me a bomb!

James Marsters Sig: £25 (max price guess)
Alexis Denisof Sig: £25 (max price guess)
Sig holders: £10
Collectormania party: £15
James Marsters Evening: £15
= £90 give or take.

If only I was a billionaire, I would have no money worries...
 
I'd guess the sigs would be £20, that was the max cost last year. Unless its gone up. For me, if I get the train:

Jamse and Alexis Sigs: £40
Sig holders (2): £20
JM Evening: £15
Train: £15
Taxis: £10

So mine is £100 without buying anything for myself. Might have to sell something on ebay. Maybe driving isn't a good idea then. Oh I dunno! However if I do go by train I think im going first class, £10 more but I saw the seats last time and man are they nice!
 
I'm thinking about only go8ing to ONE Collectormania Party/Talk and it'll probberly be the JM talk I go to. The party is just like, been there, done that! 😀 And if as you say the sigs are only £20 max that should take me down to £65
