James Marsters As Outlaw Alien Fighter

This actually reminds me of one of my all time favorite books, "The High Crusade," by Poul Anderson, about an alien spacecraft landing near a village in England during the time of the crusades. A great book that was made into an absolutely terrible parody on the Monty Python movies.
 
Hmm. Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited. Since I love James, and can enjoy a good Western like anyone else, I'm all for it. After all, actors have to make a living, too. I think people are too harsh on actors for accepting "bad" roles. As long as they're having fun and making money, what does it really matter, anyway? We all know JM is a talented guy - maybe he's just having a hard time finding work. Or, more likely knowing him, he just thought it sounded fun 🙂

Wait , what?! Did he just say on there that this was going to be better than Buffy?!?! Okay so I think he was refering more specifically to the stunts and maybe the special effects but still! That he would even pull out a comparison to Buffy and claim anything on this is going to be better really kind of upsets me. Even if it had an ounce of truth to it (which I doubt cause just from the clip we've seen it looks really unreal and tacky as any Buffy monster ever did) I find it extremely tacky for him to make a statement like that. And this coming from a pretty big James fan.
 
*Sadness* This looks like it is going to be such a step DOWN from Captain John in Torchwood, the last thing I saw him in, and that makes me sad. He is such a good actor and should have something better than some lame scifi movie. *sigh* Oh well as someone said earlier an actors got to eat.

I don't think food in the belly or a roof over his head is a problem as he has never been a huge spendthrift. Really and actor has to act and James has a lot of competition. If only Dragonball had been a bit better it might have been his breakthrough movie role. But if he has to do cheesy SF flicks so what? He makes anything he is better for him having been in it. Maybe someone will bring him a script that is worthwhile in the coming year.
