James Marsters in the Dresden Files

Thanks, Magui! I'm a big James/Spike fan. I don't think i'd get it though. :redwink:

Oooh his voice sounded so sexy in the clip you posted ages back, wouldn't get it but reminded me of the voice.

Well,don't remember😛...but I'm sure you're right,he was a very sexy voice😀

Np Angel's Witch😀...btw,hope you had a very happy bday😉:: tu ::

Well, I'll be getting it for sure! 😉 Grave Peril is one of my favorite books in the series, and I can't wait to hear James read it. I think that he did a great job with the first 2 audiobooks, and I expect this one to be as good or even better now that he knows and understands the character even more, IMO. 🙂

I've never listened to an audiobook but have always meant to. I might just have to check these out! Personally I think James could make anything interesting (oh and sexy toooo) 😀

You are so right! 😉 Check out these links for audioclips and for sample chapters from the first 2 books:

For Storm Front (Book 1) Chapters and Audioclips: http://www.jim-butcher.com/books/dresden/1/

For Fool Moon (Book 2), you can find audioclips at: http://www.jim-butcher.com/books/dresden/2/
Just listen to the clip titled ""The touch of my fintertips on her face, feather-light..." from book 2, and I think that you will be hooked on the idea of JM in this role; he does an awesome job in the audiobooks.

Jim's writing + James' voice = Pure Pleasure! 😀

As I take my name from one of the characters in the Dresdenverse you got to know I was happy to hear the first clips of Grave Peril. There are some hot ones but I think James shines in all of them especially the one where he uses three distinct voices ( Harry, Bob, and Thomas ). Looks like I'm gonna give myself a Christmas present :magic:

I've noticed your name. 😉 I have soooo been looking forward to these clips to help ease my impatience until March can get here. Grave Peril is my favorite so far, of the print books, with Blood Rites at second, I think... It's difficult because I've enjoyed them all for different reasons.

James just keeps getting better and better, IMO. 😀 I still would love to see him in the role of Harry/Erik when (not if 😉) the pilot project gets made, and then hopefully, a series.

Dresden Files TV Pilot Project

I guess we won't be seeing anyone (not even James) for a while on our TV screens as Harry/Erik, though I'm remaining optimistic that it will still happen (hopefully both the pilot with James as Harry, of course). I am glad, though, that the option was renewed.

From Jim Butcher today on McAnallys:
"For the record, the update on the project is that there is no update. It's still "under development." Previously, they had reason to rush a little, because the option was running out and they were going to have to renew, but then they renewed so now they have until, hrm, about 13 months from now to decide whether or not to do anything. Whole lot of nothin' goin' on. 🙂"

I just read the last post in this thread and wanted to be sure that everyone knows to read the latest in the "Grave Peril Audio Clips Up Now" thread. Is it March yet?? 😉

Can I just say a really big YAY! that it's March? 😀 The Grave Peril audio book should start being shipped at the end of this month, plus we get more James in the movie "Cool Money" starting on the 19th! 🙂

Thanks! I'm glad that you agree and understand. 😀

Grave Peril Audio Book

(I thought that I posted this yesterday but can't find it...)

I can't change the title of the thread but wasn't sure about starting a new one:
Buzzy Multimedia started shipping the orders of the Grave Peril audio book last Friday! 😀

It is absolutely wonderful! James outdoes himself, IMO. Even though I think that he did a great job with the first 2, he shines in this one -- the many different voices, the characterizations, the sighs, the inflections, the accents, etc (okay, gushing time over, lol). I love this book any way, partially because we meet 2 of my favorite characters of the series in this book, plus it's a really good story. 🙂

There's even a little surprise at the beginning of the audio book that wasn't in the first 2 (not James, but a fun surprise for fans of the series). I won't spoil it. 😉

Changed the title for you hon! And that's GREAT news!!! 😀 😀
Thanks! 😀

I've been listening more, and the first time Harry meets Thomas : vampy : --wait until you hear how James does Thomas' laugh in that first scene together. *sigh*

LOL you really make me want it more! 😀 As I'm sure lots of others will!!! 🙂
