January Character Discussion

This is something old, but new that we are going to try out. I love discussing the characters and what they do and how they change throughout the show.

Let's take a few days to discuss which character we'd like to talk about. If you have suggestions, put if forth here. Give us a few episodes that you think would be helpful in analyzing and discussing that character. Why do you think that character deserves a discussion? After we get a few ideas, I'll pick one for this month and we can start discussing them in this thread. Other ideas will definitely be saved for later months, so throw them all out there guys!

Um, for Season 4, maybe we could discuss Willow. Her conflicted feelings, you could discuss her in "Wild At Heart", "Hush", "Something Blue", and "New Moon Rising".

EDIT: Oh, I see we're not discussing these episodes this month, so for the first four episodes, I might have to say Buffy, cause of her loneliness in "The Freshman", her aggravation at college life in "Living Conditions" turned into more loneliness in "The Harsh Light of Day".

OOps, I could have been more clear. The character discussion does not have to revolve around the four eps we are watching that month. It can be any character! This is just an idea to help keep this section of the boards active!

A character I would like to examine and discuss in depth that really gets overlooked is Max Perlich's Whistler; In only two episodes of Buffy but they were pivotal episodes and I rather liked the way he dismissed Buffy. Thought the character was interesting enough to go a bit deeper.
