My first thought was that it was blown up for a bit of publicity. I was starting to wonder if people were actually that different from where I am with how lame it all seems lol.

While the pub owner here isn't quite that tall, he is rather large. When he gets going it is hilarious for every one. People come to watch him swear at the football. The insults are fantastic. I don't know much about Jared as a person besides what I see on videos, but I think you're right that he will be forgiving. If he meant real harm, he is totally physically capable of doing real harm.
 
Bail went from $5000 in first reports to $15,000 in ^^^ that report. Was it $5000 per charge? Either way, its pocket change to him. Doubt it will affect much of anything for him. And if it does, he has the history of mental illness excuse. My screennames actor got arrested for domestic violence while on a CW show, it didn't seem to hurt her career either. Seems like an easy going network to work for!

But she's a chick so domestic violence is okay. He is a white dude so it's not. It's a double whammy- toxic masculinity and white privilege with the case being all but ignored by his employers.
 
He missed doing a convention, but still probably was paid for it,,so I don't think it's done any harm.
