So how did everyone like Jasmine? I remember the first episode of Angel I ever saw was the second to last one of season 4 where she dies. I had to watch this arc first when I got season 4. When I first saw Jasmine appear out of Cordelia, my first thought was, "OMG! Cordelia cheated with Gunn!" I thought it was funny how she decided to begin world peace, and eat people. Those two do not go well together. I did watch the Jasmine arc again yesterday. I'm not gonna lie. I seriously thought the writers were psychic and this was foreshadowing for

Random black character coming out of nowhere, rising to power, on a mission to bring change. And change is brought indeed. I thought Jasmine was particularly funny when she casually tells Connor that she ate the people in the room. His reaction is priceless. "Cool."
So did you guys like Jasmine?
P.S. The spoilered remark is purely meant to be comedic. I am not trying to start international dilemmas. I'm not trying to be offensive.

I was not a fan of Jasmine. While of course I love Gina, I just hated the entire Conner+Cordy=ugly maggot face power that be. Not a fan of that storyline, it was a bit too twisted for me. And just think, that's gotta be saying something, cause I'm pretty twisted 😉

Jasmine is interesting. Although I know it was wrong for her to kill others to sustain herself, and remove everyone's free will, what she was trying to achieve would've pretty much balanced the "evil" she was perpetrating. The greater good. The thing Angel's meant to be fighting for. A few thousand lives for complete peace on Earth. I know I'd die for that.

I loved Jasmine as a villian. She was deliciously evil. I thought her whole arc was an interesting analogy for the overpowering and damaging power of religion on the masses. (Well, my personal leaning towards athiesm might have something to do with my interpretation of this storyline, I'll admit.) It was interesting how, after she was killed, A.I. questioned if they had made the right decision.
