She wasn't evil at all, she brought with peace, hapiness, ending to world hunger and disease. For the small price of 30 people a day and freedom. She may have been under the impression that she was doing good.

I liked her too--as a villain. Now here's a thought for you: I suspect Joss created her because he wanted to put Gina Torres on one of his shows. Gina eventually took the role of Zoe on his later show, Firefly--and that was a much better fit.
 
Quite believable theory..I really like her as an actress (she was cool in 'Hercules' and 'Cleopatra 2525' IMO)

She was Link's wife's sister. Link of course being the Nebuchadnezzar's new operator (replacing Dozer who was supposedly the husband of the character Gina Torres played... BTW Gina Torres' real husband is Laurence Fishburne, who plays Morpheus... small world huh?).

Nope! I loved her character, I thought she was written VERY well, and folks, Conner ruled, Season 4 is far by the best of the series, then Season 3, than Season 5.

She had depth and was Ms. Torres was very good playing her.
Somehow she connected it all... she made perfect sense.

Right...She is evil.She has so much pride.She doesn't want humans to have free will.If you watch the second last episode of season 4, she says that she just wants to help humans, by eating a 20 humans per day to save thousands.Angel and Jasmine have a fight about free will.Jasmine getrs mad, because she hates free will.
 
Evil can be insidious and seem to be good, but make no mistake Jasmine was a wicked evil bitca. All right supermodel hot, but wicked evil and hot. Really hot.

And omigod I met Gina Torres at Comic Con and she looks even better in person. In fact that whole cast (Serenity) is just smokin' hot. I don't think there's ever been a starship crew so good looking.
 
Supermodel hot?Not.She's just looks like an average model.Supermodels are like beyond average.If you watch shows like america's next top model, like me, then you'll know what I mean.The judges say that supermodels or america's next top model, should be the girl way far on the other side.Not the girl next door.Girl's next door are just average models.It's like your saying that Gina, is a supermodel like Tyra Banks.She doens't even have the body of a supermodel.But she could be an average model.
 
Thanks Jacklyn. Anyway, I'm in good company in that assessment of Ms. Torres. Joss himself has described her in those terms. Supermodel and badass.
