Jasmine's Power/Sunny D?

Okay I just got The Watcher's Guide Vol. 2 and it says Sunnydale is two hours from LA. So why wasn't Sunnydale enthralled with Jasmine? At least for an ep of two? I know it would have been hard to do in Buffy's final eps....

Perhaps The First blocked her out? Which brings up another question? Who is more powerful?

Maybe that´s the reason why all the people left Sunnydale in the final episodes? They were heading to LA to meet the perfect Jasmine? 😀 I mean Buffy and the others surely didn´t have time to watch TV or listen to the radio.

Everyone left sunndydale cuz they actually realised there was something going on this time (And they couldn't destroy the town if there were people in it)

And Jasmines power was just like the sun being blocked, it only effected LA. She first effected a small group of people, then got on to a LA talk show, she hadn't gotten to the rest of the world yet, she would have, but hadn't yet.
