Question Jasmine's world peace apparently didn't include Sunnydale?

I think there was a discussion of this before but that discussion was too focused on the sun being blotted out and Darla's ghost being possibly The First Evil. Let's not get into The First. The sun blotting out over LA was a local thing, just like how the LA news report read that it was a localized thing and it was only occurring in LA.

So now, how come Jasmine's world peace didn't affect Sunnydale? Let's re-open this discussion.
 
Wasn't the power out in Sunnydale at this stage? Without TV and Radio, there was no way for Jasmine's effects to be felt there.
 
I can't be certain without rewatching, but after Jasmine falls, don't the people she affected largely forget her and her influence? So, even if Sunnydale was affected, they wouldn't remember now?

Also, this was right smack in the middle of S7, when much of Sunnydale was in the process of evacuating and Buffy had her hands tied with The First and Caleb.
 
Yeah I checked the the dates, Jasmine was fully active just as Sunnydale was evacuating and without power, so people couldn't see her face or hear her voice through TV and Radio and so couldn't be effected.
 
If I remember correctly, the power of Jasmine was limited to LA She had no way of subduing the world because Angel stopped her before Jasmine's world debut could happen.
 
But Lilah said it was world peace. So Sunnydale was basically empty when Jasmine implemented world peace?
 
It had the potential for World Peace but it hadn't happened yet.
 
Jasmine hadn't had her world debut yet, so it makes sense that Sunnydale wasn't affected
