I did actually already post this at AD but I wanted to hear what you guys thought of it 🙂

*Will Contain storylines and spoilers for people who havn't seen it*

Finally a half decent horror! I say half because the first 1/2 of the film was amazing and pretty scary, all the "beatingu" truck scenes and in that church basement were awesome. I was so impressed with that, the actors did a good good as well. Me and my mates were genuinely on the edge of our seats shouting at the t.v lol, I loved the beginning, it was too good! I especially liked the "In scary movies somebody always does something stupid that everybody hates them for doing and this is it" (something like that anyway), that was a cool quote.

I wasn't very keen on the second half when you found out the thing was actually a demon, I would so much preferred it to have been a human like the fisherman character in "I know what you did last summer". The baddie being a demon just made it into a cliche horror movie, which was annoying. The whole psychic woman thing was ok but this side of the film really let it down. I didn't understand the ending though... when she said that the "creeper" wanted the girl's eyes and then took the guy? I wasn't too sure about it.... Sad though that they didn't kill it. I hope there isn't a sequel lol.

I thought the first half was kinda scary but then it got boring. People who I know who've seen it told me it was really scary so I started watching thinking I'd be hiding behind my pillow, but I didn't once.
I was shouting at the t.v in the first half though, all the things the guy did you just wouldn't do. But that's the point, you wouldn't do em and it's only a movie.
The ending was wierd, I didn't get what that woman was going on about that song for.
 
remember she said it was the girl gonna be singing and shes like thats not true i would never do that he started remembering what she said on the phone if he ever heard that song to run remember at the end he was screaming and that song was playing thats why she told him to stay away from that song she was saying it was gonna be the girl but she knew it was going to be the guy all along i think his name was denny remember he was are you sure are your prediction always right but they were trying not to scare his sister remember the old lady said he smelled something he liked some thing he craved and wont stop till he gets it yeah but it wasent the close he smelled dennys fear from being in the church basement i think the movie was very clever did you watch it on video or dvd it was cool i love the ending compared to the dvd ending the dvd ending just have the demon or creature whatever he is looking at him self in the mirror with dennys eyes the one they have in the movie is better because it shows his shelled out body the ending still could have been a little better
 
Dizzy, you've actually cleared some of that up for me. So the woman said it was the sister (patricia?) so that Denny wouldn't be so scared and so the demon would then not smell as much fear? I knew it was going to be him as he was the one in the church basement and they said the demon would know he had been there. Also the demon was smelling his clothes 🙁 sad ending.
 
There is going to be a Jeepers Creepers 2 coming out sometime in the future. I am not sure who will be in it or any other details, but I can't wait to see it! The first time I saw Jeepers Creepers it was on my top ten list of favorite movies. It was amazing, and a unique horror film. The ending disappointed me at first, but then I realized it made the film even more incredible. I prefer to like the idea that the guy was a demon instead of human. It makes it more believable. That demon freaked the hell out of me. I'm scared so easily, and I love when I scream at movies. I was yelling through the entire movie, and I especially liked the beginning as well. I went out and bought the movie as soon as it came out on vhs. God, it was so great! 😛 I actually understood everything that was happening after the second time of watching it. One of the greatest movies of all time! Rent it today. 🙂 Later.
 
I saw this movie tonite a thought it was great. The 1st half better, i would have prefered him to be human too. Oh thanx for clearing up why she said it wanted the girl. Another ending on the dvd??? huh??? i watched it on dvd and there was no extras, i mean no extras menu at all, maybe this is because i had a rental copy. hhmmm
 
Can i just ask am i the only person who hated this film?

The first half was ok but the second half just bored the hell out of me.

Also did anyone else notice just how much of the film was taken from texas chainsaw massacare?

The more I think about this movie the more I actually like it. I'm going to have to watch it again cos I think I missed bits.

Did you think it was like the texas chainsaw massacre cos of the setting... out in the middle of nowhere. They both have cannibalism (yeuch 🙁) but it didn't really remind me of it. Although the ending where the girl survives is alike.

How come you didn't like it? I loved the first half.::wave::
 
it started out really well but then went all....... comic booky (is that a word) it just got to un realistic.

this type of film needs to scare you to be good. And to scare me it has to be realistic. Huh maybe its just me.

And also there are a lot af other similarities only hardcore horror fans would of picked up on.
 
desolate_soul I totally agree with you! It just got more unrealistic as it went on. I swear after the first half I looked away and then turned back to another film.🙂
 
Must admit, I thought the first half was very good, but then second half let the film down, I wasn't impressed with that part at all, they should have carried on the scary theme. 🙂🙂
 
Well, maybe the sequel will be better. If some of you thought it was that bad, then how much worse could Jeepers Creepers 2 be? I still loved the first one, but that's only my opinion.

A brother and sister driving home from collage stumble across an old church full of dead mutilated bodys. The killer sees them and spends the rest of the film chasing them. Thats about it.
I thought it take longer to explain.

I actually liked this film, although I will agree that the latter half wasn't as good as the first.😉

I really thought it had loads of potential and it was simmering quite nicely but never reached boiling point, as if someone turned off the heat too early.😀
 
My brother told me it was a really scary movie, so I rented it. It takes alot for a movie to really scare me. I haven't been truly scared since Silence of the Lambs. And the first 30 minutes were kinda scary, but the moment the guy wanted to go back it turned into a cliche for me. I didn't like it. It had a few cheap thrills that made me jump, but I was never trully scared. I keep hoping to find a movie that will scare me, but so far nothing.... Any other sugestions?
