Canadian actress Jewel Staite (who played Kaylee on Firefly) recently started her own food blog called "Happy Opu". She plans to use her new wordpress page to critique different meals/wines all over the USA, post recipes and even wine suggestions. Kind of a neat site to take a look at if you're a Firefly fan (or enjoy cooking!):

Growing up, I spent a lot of time on Maui, and a "happy opu" was a really nice way of referring to someone's expanding mid section. Throughout my life, I've had the good fortune to travel the world, eating fabulous meals and drinking incredible wine. This blog is a way for me to share my experiences with you, so all of these calories I'm consuming aren't for nothing. I'll be posting my amateur restaurant reviews, passable recipes, and all of the adult beverages that go along with it.

Let's hope I can help your tummy, or "opu", remain happy, too.
