JMS would like to work with Joss

Well, as a fan of both writers I would be totally made up if these TV demi-gods were to collaborate on something...TV, film or comics, I don't care 🙂

I've watched some Babylon 5 in my day, but I have to be honest, I didn't know who Joseph Michael Straczynski, or J. Michael Straczynski, or JMS was until I googled for him just now. Is it just me who's so out of touch?

I'm genuinely surprised at this news. I would've put money on you knowing JMS's work inside out...

[sarky]Well, JMS has been pretty quiet since the end of B5...he has only written a shedload of comics, produced and written for the cancelled B5 spin-off Crusade, produced and written for Jeremiah (which at least got two seasons before it was canned...I still haven't seen the second one) and nearly got involved with Star Trek...*pauses for breath*...as well as being involved with several one-off projects, some of which actually got shown...so, by the standard he set during B5, he's been a pretty lazy old git for the last few years :eviltongu 😉 [/sarky]

I really must stop going on the sort of boards where they post stuff like that...it's not big and it's not clever 🙂

Never watched Babylon 5, but I've read a little Straczynski. He worked up this weird mythology/backstory for Spider-Man, didn't care for it. But I do sorta like his Supreme Power stuff. It's like an R rated, Marvel reimagining of DC characters. Interesting.

I've heard of this guy but I can't say I'm really a fan...Babylon 5 was not a great show, IMO. I tried to get into it, and while I thought it was awesome how well-planned out the series was from the beginning, it just wasn't very interesting. *shrug*

So to be honest, I don't care if he and Joss ever worked on anything together or not. *shrug*

There was this section right before those super-aliens came that had me hooked like a mackerel, then they lost me. I don't think I've ever seen the last ones.
