I just read at "Ain't It Cool News" that Pixar in definitely close to making the movie about Edgar Rice Burroughs' first, and greatest fictional hero, John Carter of Mars. (insert ear splitting cheer here). I know that this rumor has been floating around from one studio or the other for literally decades, but still...
For those of you who are familiar with the story (come on, there has to be the SOMEBODY out there who's read the books), do you think that it would be better in live action, even though given the story, it would have to be almost completely computer generated, or would complete animation be the better format?
