I'm a big fan of his compositions (as I'm sure many here are). Did Williams ever write for BTVS? The reason I'm asking is this: During some fight scenes in Seasons 4, 5, and 6, I'm noticing a staccato trumpet theme that sounds JUST like something Williams wrote for The Patriot. Could anyone enlighten me?

I have no idea if he composed for Buffy (I'm going to guess he didn't) but I love his music: Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, all of it!!! :heart: :heart: :heart:

I'm a big John Williams fan, and I'm sure he never wrote for BtVS.
I also think the last time he composed music for a TV series was in the 80s when he wrote music for Amazing Stories. He's way too accomplished to write music for TV where you're constantly under time pressure and often can't use a real orchestra. I'm also not quite sure which theme during the fight scenes you mean, but since Williams is one of the most important composers of the 20th century, I think what you're hearing is just his huge influence on other film scores.
