Was everyone aware that Joss apparently played "the voice" of the newscaster heard in this episode?

Giles is in his office doing something or other, and just before Jenny walks in, you can hear a newscaster on the radio talking about the stock market or something like that. ( I haven't heard it for quite some time, can't clearly remember the subject of the report).

The weatherman in "Amends" didn't look like Joss to me, but I gotta check again.

Hmm... interesting. I didn't know that. Was Buffy S1's budget so low that Joss was the voice of the newscaster? Just a thought.

If I remember correctly, the weatherman in this episode was Mark Kriski, is the real-life weatherman for KTLA's morning news. KTLA is the LA affiliate of the WB Network. However, I also remember that the newscaster in Hush was affiliated with the KTLA, it was Carlos Amezcua.
