Hi! I'm pretty sure that Joss Whedon does the voice of the little white monster at the end of each episode of buffy/angel! You know the "grrr...arrggh" lol! I'm not entirely sure but somebody said that before and i think its true! lol

Joss also did the Grrr Arrrgh thing on an episode of Seth's Robo Chicken.
He and an assistant also did the moans for the Buffy/Angel sex scene. He thought Sarah and David might find it embarrassing.

I thought it was because he was too embarassed to ask them to do the moans cuz they had to be recorded seperately? So he and an assitant did them instead.

i thought it was Joss and Marti Noxon or Jane Epenson? definitely remember reading that it was one of those two. i'll have to see if i can find a link.

Dude, which sex scene is this? The first one, or the one in IWRY? Or the dream one in Amends? I honestly don't remember the moans, which I guess means they seemed like a convincing part of the scene rather than something that was added later, so kudos to Joss and whoever recorded them.

In the commentary for "Innocence" (I think--whichever episode they actually showed the scene in), Joss said he and one of the sound tech girls did the moans.
For the "grr argh" thing, he was told he had to come up with a logo and they had 8 minutes to do it, so he whipped that up as fast as he could.

Hmm. I wonder why that would be too embarrassing for the actors, then. I mean, they were already acting out sex with their bodies. How much more embarrassing can some sound effects be?
That said, I'm so glad I'm not an actor. Sex scenes would be totally embarrassing to act out.
It's not that they were too embarassed to do it, Joss was too embarassed to ask them to record the sounds, the scene and the sounds were recorded seperately. It would be kinda mortifying though asking people to moan for you!
