These are always worth a watch, I love panels. Nothing really news worthy here's all the bits (I paraphrase) in regards to Buffy/Angel, there was lots of bits about his other stuff, but it'd be a lot of typing 😀

He did mention that he was supposed to do Dr. Horrible 2 this year (I think he said it at last years panel) but now he's doing SHIELD it's not scheduled 🙁

Someone asked what was gonna happen if Angel continued with Illyria becoming more like Fred, Joss says if Illyria started looking and being more like Fred it would make Wesley upset and the more Illyria did it she'd develop issues with doing it

This would have been really interesting to see Illyria go through 🙁

Q:Favourite death scene to write?
J: Freds, cuz all the pain was there

He says Freds death scene is also his fondest to look back on, becasue of the work they put into it. He also says the Schwarma scene in The Avengers was based on him, Alexis and Amy doing that

Could have sworn he said before it was based on something Nick Brendon said in his audition, no?

Q: I've never found the answer to this, but why couldn't Giles fly in for Xanders wedding?
J: Well I'm glad we're getting to the hard facts, he doesn't like them much, and he knows Xander wont go through with it (he's joking)

Q: Asked if he was given the option to do any show/movie/comic on any character, budget and licensing didn't matter what would he do?
J:Get the Crew of Serenity back together

Q: Favourite female character to write for?
J:Illyria, Drusilla and River are fun cuz they are the closest to writing free form poetry. But it comes back to Buffy, becasue she says the things that need to be said, then adds a y to the end.

Q: Which one of your characters would you put on the Avengers team?
J:Andrew, just one Andrew/Thor scene and my life is complete

Q: At the end of Buffy where Xander and Anya back together or even on their way to getting back together?
J:No, I dont think they were definitely back anything, had we continued who knows, although he ended up with someone else.

Q: He was asked where the idea for Normal Again came from
J said they'd been trying to break it for years and wanted to look at the world she creates as a way to evaluate her. Also mentions that when he was writing for X-Men he wanted to slip in a joke where Scott Summers says he has a cousin in a mental institution that fights demons.

LMFAO! I always hate/love jokes like that, becasue we take everything in the show so seriously it's hard when they throw in a joke that plays with continuity 😉

That was an interesting panel to watch. I liked that he had the audience direct the whole thing, its nice for the fans.

Considering the opening scene of Angel & Faith that flashes back to Giles exorcising the young girl likely takes places around Xander's wedding, it would be cool if saving her was his reason...
