Whedons latest film is available to rent now through Vimeo for $5.

It's available worldwide too, so you don't have to be in the US to watch

The Trailer and actual video are here, they're on Vimeo so can't be embedded.

I just rented it and you get 3 days to watch, so I'm gonna check it out later today.

I'm watching it now, there's about 30 minutes left. I really like it, exactly my kind of indie, but if you go in expecting a "Whedon" film you will be disappointed. This is nothing like anything he has ever done.

lol I'm pretty much in the exact same place.

I love it, so much chemistry for two people who aren't on screen together!

I love that it's so unWhedon like as well, it's nice to see him do something else.

I would happily watch these two for years. The chemistry is crazy and I really loved how grounded their story is (even for the crazy concept.)

I'm most likely gonna rent it as well. Mainly because I just want to see the movie, but also because I want to support this kind of movie distribution. It's really great that Joss is doing this, for everyone, anywhere. I think this is really great.

To anybody who has rented it, how can you select the language? The description says they translated it into a few languages. Is it dubbed or is it only with subtitles? In case it's dubbed, can I still watch it in English if I'm from Germany? I prefer to watch my movies in the original version. I think dubbing takes away from the actors' performances.

I just had a quick check, there's no dubbing only Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese subtitles

That's good to know. Thanks for the answer! :) I would have been surprised if such a small indie flick would have gotten dubbed that quickly.
I loved the whole thing, except maybe the last ten minutes

Exactly how I feel about it. I thought the tone of the ending was out of place and would have been much happier with a quieter less car chase-y ending.

Yes, it just didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the movie, I expected him to become some kind of savior figure, but not that much. Also, it would have been nice to have an actual happy ending.

I'd hoped Beccy would just make the decision to leave her husband and arrive at Dylan's door, out of the blue. I thought that would have been the most powerful thing for her do, that first step in looking after herself and fighting back against the fear. Despite the ending, I still loved the film. Will definitely be watching it again before my rental runs out.

That would have been a much better ending, I'm going to watch it again also 🙂

Yeah, that was an enjoyable movie.
Not exactly my favorite kind of movie perhaps... but still really good.

The ending in these kind of movies is often their weakest part and so I it was in this one too.

Some brilliant and really funny things at times though.
And they had great chemistry together.

/SK

Haven't heard about it before but the trailer had me intrigued so I'm definitely gonna try to get a hold of it. 🙂 I like the idea of it not being very Whedon-like actually, it's always nice to see new facets of a creative source

I finally got around to watching this movie and I really enjoyed it. The ending was pretty weak, a total cliche, but I still found it enjoyable. Overall it had a really neat concept and Zoe Kazan was great; well worth the small rental fee.
