Joss wrote and directed second episode

I'm not sure if this is true, but I read that Joss wrote and directed the second episode too. Episode one and two are two-parters.

It's hardly even a two parter. I've read the episode summaries at www.buffy.nu and there isn't a lot of continuation. Ok, there is a cliffhanger at the end of ep 1 (and im sure you all know that that is when

) but otherwise the stories are completely separate.
