I didnh't know where to put this since I didn't see a forum for Joss related stuff? But what is his deal? I love him to death and he's a great director and writer. I know he's not gay...but he flirts with the idea a lot. Saying that Angel and Spike are the perfect couple, and he told Alexis that his rear end was very fine. Just wondering

In the special features of the Angel season 5 of Boxset... there are ton's of References from Joss insinuating he ships for them.
 
Does it really matter what his orientation is as long as he continues to produce fine dramatic presentations for our edification? 😉

edification... yes LOL... anyway either way Joss is awesome and the comments just make the commentaries with him on them hilarious. Seriously though, "hole in the world's" commentary was made funnier by his Spangel comments, wouldn't change Joss for the world teehee.

I'd like to be able to say it never mattered for me but I did have a few homophobic moments when I was younger...I've grown up a lot since...it really doesn't matter to me now...says the middle-class, middle-aged, white, straight male 😉 It's ever so easy being a liberal (Brits, please note lower-case L) when no-one is prejudiced against you but I get what you're saying Epo and bless you for saying it...but, honestly, that never is a consideration for me these days...if something I watch is good, it's good and I don't give a thought to the background of its creator(s)
 
i dont' care either about his orientation. I mean I know he's straight. Or if not he's happily married to a woman. That wasn't the point. I just love that he is a straight guy who is THAT open-minded about homosexuality. It just makes him that much greater of a guy.

Well, to me such things have never mattered, at least not in a bad way (uh, long story). But honestly, in one way or another, it always matters..
(And believe me, I think prejudice is just as common among gays, or feminists, or other people who sure have been prejudiceed against.)

As for the background of Joss (or other TV show creators), I do care, in a way. I do care that Joss is a huge nerd and I do care what my "idols" are like 'cause I'd be happy if they would be anything like me. And I'm not at all saying sexual orientation is one of the most important things ('cause it's really not), but I still understand why people would want to know. Not in a "if he's gay I don't like him anymore"-way, but in a "this guy is really cool so I wanna know stuff about him"-way. At least that's how it works for me with the people I admire...

(Oh and thanks for the blessing 😉 )
 
In a recent interview, Joss claimed he was pregnant. I'm pretty sure he's not though. 😀
