Joyce and Pat - something romantic going on?

So I'm just doing a rewatch of season 3 over easter, and I noticed something in "dead mans party".

Joyce friend Pat, the one that brings enchiladas to the hoot nanny and have supported Joyce while Buffy was away, do you think it's possible that they could've had some sort of a.... thing? 🙂 There's this scene with them in the kitchen when they're drinking wine and Pat gives her a certain look that I thought suggested that she saw her more than as a friend. 🙂 I know we've only seen Joyce with guys, and I never got the impression that she was bi, but I think it's possible that Pat had other feelings for Joyce! (and who knows, maybe they got drunk on red wine after a art gallery day and made out at least? 😀)

Just something I thought about that I thought I'd share. 🙂

Lol, I really don't think so... I mean anything is possible but no, I never considered that. I just thought it was kind of nice that Joyce was finally seen making a friend (even if it was an annoying one) because she must have been very lonely after two years in Sunnydale. Parents are people too 😉 so I'm glad that she found some support (even if only for a while)

LOL!! I've thought about this before, but I think even if Pat was attracted to Joyce, it was entirely one-sided.

I don't think so. As good as the writing and the acting usually was on Buffy, I doubt they meant to insinuate anything in one tiny moment. Would have been nice to see Joyce end up with someone who wasn't built at Radio Shack or a pubescent Cockney, though.

I really hope not... But only because Pat creeped me out a bit. I would have liked to see Joyce in a long term relationship though. I was kind of hoping Giles and her would have gotten back together after "Band Candy". But that might of have been a little creepy as well.

Maybe Pat liked Joyce but...I'm 99% sure that Joyce wasn't or wouldn't have been interested. Ugh. She bothered me haha, Joyce can do better than that! 😉
