The episode judgement was so sad Angel had to come and visit Faith in prison and it is all because of Buffy sayin' she needs to go to jail. I know Faith did things that are wrong but Buffy said to Angel in Sanctuary "did you you know what she did to me" It is more what she did to Faith, she STABBED Faith right square in the gut. How is that right?
Judgement was a really cool episode on that line too.

I love that passage just before Angel decides to go visit Faith:

Wesley: "Of course. We shouldn't be keeping score. We're not running a race - we're doing a job - one soul at a time."
Angel: "You guys hold the fort. I've somewhere to be."

Oh, and speaking of passages that deserve quoting. Here's the Angel/Faith visit:

Angel picks up the phone at a prison visitor booth.
Angel: "Hey."
Faith: "Hey."
Angel: "How you doing?"
Faith: "Pretty good, I guess. I did sign up for this."
Angel: "Regretting the choice?"
Faith: "Bad day. One of the girls in the yard tried to build a rep by throwing down with me. She had low self esteem, and a home-made knife, so.."
Angel: "Oh. - Is she - you know - alive?"
Faith: "She lives to tell the tale. Took the knife away - and I can't say much for the wrist it came in."
Angel: "So you didn't kill her."
Faith: "I really wanted to. - Took a big beating from the guards, too."
Angel: "Sorry."
Faith: "Earned worse. Guys like us kind of got it coming."
Angel: "I had to sing Barry Manilow."
Faith: "You're kidding."
Angel: "In front of people."
Faith trying not to laugh: "And here I am talking about my petty little problems."
Angel: "Just wanted to give you a little perspective."
Faith: "Copa cabana?"
Angel: "Mandy. I don't wanna dwell on it."
Faith: "The road to redemption is a rocky path."
Angel: "That it is."
Faith: "You think we might make it?"
Angel: "We might. - - Food getting any better?"
Faith: "You know, it's not that different from what I grew up on. It's a little one note. Eating the same thing every day."
Angel: "I wonder what that's like."
Faith: "Right.."

Ah, finally.. I totally loved this scene. When I saw this episode I had only seen the beginning of season 1.. And I had bought season 2, and was just watching the first episode.. I had no idea Faith was going to be there. And all of a sudden, Angel's sitting there and in the reflection on the glass there's a girl.. oh, but.. and the camera turns around and I had never been that happy to see Faith ever before. I had to watch the scene three times, lol. I just love the way they talk to eachother.. and how she looks like she could actually be quite ok with this and aww... God it made me cry, lol.. Yeah well, this was when I hadn't seen a Faith scene (for the first time) in a long time.. Heh.

I totally agree, so well worded too. I never thought she'd be there and there she was! I was so happy and sad that i hadn't taped the episode 🙁 😛

Faith

That whole conversation was SO perfect! It was my favorite scene of that ep. I was so glad that she was getting better and more able to handle life, gave me hope!

Didn't Buffy stab Faith after she tried to kill Angel? She needed Faith's blood to cure Angel so he wouldn't die. I think she deserved the stabbing....she shouldn't have shot Angel with the poison dart. She also killed various people, tortured people, etc. There is no comparison between the horrible things Faith did and Buffy stabbing her.

This is a very good episode though and even though I think she deserved to be in jail I really liked Faith's character and was happy to see her.

Heh. Yeah. Besides, Faith attempted to pretty much steal Buffy's life, ultimately leaving Buffy to live her's, which wasn't going down a very good path, if you know what I mean.

I loved that scene inthe jail especially the bit where they talk about Angel being tortured by singing Barry Manillow cos he certainly tortured me when he sang it!!!!
Oh let's not forget the darts scene where Wes throws the dart into some guys butt by mistake!!

Also the bit where the pagers go off simultaniously(spelling?) and they go off to fight evil by walking together in a line to that sports club how corny was that!!

lol I wish there was some way to quote a karma thingy....haha but there's not so I'll just respond here.

I still stand by the fact that I think Buffy stabbing Faith was justified. Evil begets evil...fine....but was she just supposed to let Angel die because of what Faith did?

You better believe that if someone tried to kill numerous loved ones, tortured them, etc. and then shot MY boyfriend with a poison arrow I'd be coming back with a head on a pole!! Hahaha....seriously though....I would have done the same thing Buffy did to save the person I loved...there is no question about that. There is no way I'd just sit down and say, "well sweety....evil begets evil....so have fun in the afterlife" lol

She tried to kill Angel so it was deserving for her to have to give her own blood to save his life. Bad karma me all ya want....that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!! lol :hihi:

This episode had some funny moments too. Like when Gunn first meets Cordy & Wes, and he tells them he has seen them before in bed. LOL! And when Angel keeps asking the pregnant lady if it was really ok to kill the demon that was trying to attack her.

Well I dont think it was right for Buffy to stab Faith in the gut... and it wasnt right for Faith to hit Angel with a poison arrow... but that is Faith.... that is what her character has to be like... but still its what makes the show... and i loved that scene in season 2! awesome (between angel and faith)

I know a lot of people will probably disagree with me here but most of the time, I prefer Faith to Buffy, I understand why Buffy was so annoyed as everyone was but erm if anyone is going to want to kill her, wouldn't it be Angel I mean he was the one she poisoned. If Angel can forgive her then I think Buffy should butt out, now I know that when she went on about what Faith had done to her, she meant her and Riley, but I can understand why Faith did it, if I was Buffy I'd feel sorry for her because she is so obviously jealous of what Buffy has.
I love how Faith and Angel can have there conversations like nothing has happened, I love that scene in Judgement it is great, not one of my fave episodes though but the end scene is brilliant.

Although I think Buffy had reason to be angry at Faith and Angel I still think you make a valid point. I think theres jealousy both ways between Buffy and Faith. How Faith always used to just get on with the slaying and not let it affect her, and her relationship with Angel and how easily he forgives her, making buffy jealous, and how faith is jealous of...well...buffy life, friends and family.

I think the jelousy between Faith and Buffy is A LOT like the jelousy between Spike and Angel in season 5. Both kind of the same situation. Buffy and Faith are both slayers, trying to do the right thing (for the most part) and Spiek and Angel are both Vampire champions with souls. Thats cool, I never really realized that before!

It took Gunn all of two seconds to dust a vampire after we see him ^_^.
Haha, can you say great first impression for a character we've seen >.>
It was a one two *Kapoosh* dead vamp ^_^
