S: As vampire Darla on the tv show Angel me next guest has murdered thousands of people. Now you can see her playing a nice good girl in the Hallmark movie The Long Shot. PLease welcome Julia Benz.

*Audience goes crazy*
*Big hug between them*

S: How are you?
JB: Fine How are you?
S: Oh I am fine So good to see you. *Holds JB hands and they sit down.*
S: Oh you are COLD... ( hmmm maybe some vampire traits have wore off on her)
S: Ok Julie we have kind of met before, we set next to each other once Right?
JB: Yes you sat next to me at the James Bond Premiere. And I so badly wanted to tap you on your shoulder and ask you for your autograph. But I didn't I was so ...
S: Get out of here you so did not.
JB: Yes I did! I didn't even pay attention to the movie
S: It was a good movie though wasn't it?
JB: Yes
S: It was a good movie. I remember that so well because I remember when you were going down to get into the movie and I didn't realize that the interview was getting shown on the screen before the movie started. And somebody asked me what I thought of Peirce Brosnan and I said something very rude but sexual and I didn't realize that everybody in the movie could see that and hear that.
JB: I remember seeing that. We were inside and the audience was like WOOHOO.
S: OMG *laughs* Ok then Lets talk about the character you play on Angel, Darla what a meanie you are.
JB: I sometiimes refer to her as being misunderstood. UMMM *laughs
S: Just a tad maybe
JB *laughing* yeah just misunderstood
It's been such a joy for me to uh play her, I have played her for 8 years now from the start, from the Buffy premiere or pilot now to the end of Angel. And for me it has been a great outlet *cuts to pic of Vamp Darla* for me to act out all my dark hidden secret stuff that I don't usually act on.
S: Yes stuff no one gets to see
JB: Yes um
*both laugh evilly*
S: How many people have you killed?
JB: Oh GOD hummm it's got to be in the hundreds
S: if not it's got to be in the hundreds now. We were just saying before about this big huge campaign by all the fans
JB: all the fans yes
S: It's amazing! To keep Angel on the air! I mean what everyone has been doing It's just incredible.
JB: They have I know it's just such an honor to be a part of something where the fans are just as passionate about the show as we are working on it
S: YEAH
JB: And to have this kind of response over the show ending has just been insane.
S: I mean there is a great big truck that goes around and says to keep it on the air. I mean we wanted the truck *flashes to the truck driving around* to come here but it couldn't it didn't even fit in our lot we couldn't even get it fit it then lot it was so big.
*JB starts looking at the pic of the truck and gets a huge grin*
JB: Oh WOW!
S: This chocolate bar *holds up the candy bar with the wrapper showing* that's going around and it's like um We'll Follow Angel To Hell or Another Network. It's sooooo cute!
JB: I think they have raised over...
S: People just love the show.
JB I know. I think the have raised over $30,000 to put on this campaign.
*Audience bursts into applause and Sharon looks stunned.*
JB: and it is just AMAZING! It really is.
S: WOW! That is just incredible. Now the merchandising. This is a Christmas decoration right?
*picks up Daral ornament*
S: Of you?
JB: Of me...It looks nothing like me
S: It looks nothing like you but it is nice to have. right?
JB: *laughs* You know they they, they the show is so heavily merchandised they put your face on a lot of stuff. This is.. for the amount of work that went into making this the fact that it looks nothing like me is just blows me away
S: Did they do one of those where they scan your face?
JB: Yes they did
S: They did?
JB: Yes and they gave me gray hair.
S: That was pleasant thank you.
JB But I have very nice boobs
S: Yes very nice boobs
S: OK now everyone wants to know. Are you going to be in the last episode? (Spoiler so don't scroll down if you don't want to know)

JB: Ummm hmmm
S: Come on.
JB: I wouldn;t say the last but I do creep up towards the end.
S: You do?
JB: I do make an appearance.
S: Hmmm okay.
JB: Allright?
*Audience applause*
S: All right we are going to be right back and when we come back we will talk to Julia about her new movie. Be right back...
S: Allright we are back. The great Julia and I have been talking about a little obsession we both have which is shopping
JB: Yes
S: Just a little one
JB: A little obsession
S: and come on you love to go to the malls too.
JB: I LOVE a good mall. My uh my husband gave me an Indian name and it's mallguide because you can drop me in any mall anywhere and I have this uncanny ability of being able to tell you exactly where like Banana Republic is and where like the Gap is... Like I just seem to know where all these stores are. And I love...
S: Do you love going for bargains?
JB: I am a huge bargain shopper. I don't believe in paying full price for anything. And I uhh shop sales all the time. And my shoes...
S: Which are gorgeous.
JB: Manolo Blahniks. I got them for a HUNDRED BUCKS!
*Audience loves this and goes crazy clapping again*
S: No WAY!
JB: I did! At the Barneys warehouse sale.
S: No.
JB: Totally.
S: You can get those for a hundred dollars?
JB: Yes you can.
S: Wow you are a good shopper. All right the bag. Where did we get the bag?
JB: I am a handbag **** ok. I am! I am! I love a good handbag.
S: All women are come on admit it.
JB: We are. And I will spend money on a great handbag. I will spend the cash for a fabulous handbag. However I bought this one just recently for $25 from Rampage and I have gotten stopped by so many people about this bag.
S: And this is like the Marc Jacobs bag this is exactly what's like. I mean it's a great bag.
JB: And with the really great color. It is..
S: Oooh it's pink inside (green on the outside and kinda ugly) Could I have a look inside. Ooooh I love this I just love this. Can I OH lotion too. Excuse me what are we doing with this. Flossing?
JB: oh you know
S: When do you have time to floss? When you're at a red light?
JB *laughs* red light yeah Well it's actually I am getting ready to travel and I am going to visit my husband who's up in Canada right now and whenever I fly I take dental floss with me cause I'm a really nervous traveller
S: So you floss all the time?
JB: NO NO I believe you could use it to protect yourself in case of an emergency on the airplane
S: A pack of dental floss? As a parachute?
JB: No you could, you can tie somebody up with dental floss. I don't know what special skills I have, they have never been tested but I believe that if something were to happen I would be able to stop it.
S: You would I believe that. I have seen you at work in Angel. I believe that. You could. This is a very neat idea. And no one could take this away from you. Cause they even take your tweezers away from you.
JB: They do take everything away from you.
S: This is good
JB: Now they are going to take it away from me when I board the plane
S: They are going to go There she is. There's the woman with the dental floss. Yes we've heard about you. All right tell us about your new movie.
JB: The Long Shot is a wonderful wonderful movie on the Hallmark Channel. It's based on a true story about a woman who has a horse and the horse ends up going blind. She's able to retrain him and to go on to win a huge competion on him. It's with Marsha Mason and Paul ?
S: And when the horse goes on to win.. It is still blind? ( HEHE that is a pretty funny question)
JB: Completely blind. It's a really inspiring story about courage and overcoming tremendous odds.
S: Well we are going to see a little bit of The Long Shot
*Shows clip*
S: I love it when the story is true.
JB: Yes
S: And it's a tearjerker
JB: It is I, when I read the script I cried six time just reading the script. There's a lot of love behind the project it was written by Amy's father. So the story is just very touching and emotional. It's really wonderful cause it's a movie the whole family can emjoy.
S: Well we will all watch it and you can watch it. Join us. Watch Julie in The Long Shot which airs this Sunday on the Hallmark Channel at 9 pm. Thank you Julia so much. * Big hugs*

I was watching it today. It was so funny when Sharon went through her purse and found the floss and Julie says she could stop a terrorist by using floss.
