I think she would be the perfect choice to succeed the late Grayson Hall and Barbara Steele.

Wish she would at least be considered.

Any thoughts?

I think she's too young. Though Tim Burton's going to ruin it anyhow so Juliet might as well get some work out of it.

She's 44 yrs old, the exact same age the late Grayson Hall was. When she starred on DS, back in 1967.

Barbara Steele wasn't that much older, when she played Hoffman in the 1991 NBC revival.

I think Ms.Landau can play the role, she's definitely age appropriate.

She's not 44, that's just Wiki's error. Accoridng to her official website, she was born in like '76 or something.

The imdb.com page for her also got her age wrong, that's where I double checked before posting the info.

her site lists her birth year as 1972.

Which means Landau is nearing her 40's, still think she could pull it off. Buffy's suggestion of Angelique is also interesting.

Plus she has worked with Burton before, in the film Ed Wood.

My apologies for getting her age wrong.

My fear is that Burton will give the role to his "baby mama" Helena Bonham Carter.

My fear is that Tim Burton will completely destroy the franchise...oh wait, he's Tim Burton, that's a given.

Burton's Planet of the Apes was horrible, great make-up efx though.

Didn't care much for his Willy Wonka acid trip either.

Alice in Wonderland looks quite trippy as well.

My favorite TB film is Sleepy Hollow, along with Edward Scissorhands.

Both his Batman films were pretty good overall.

Haven't seen Sweeney Todd yet, how was that one?

His attempt at Batman was awful. Sweeney Todd was the best of the recent bunch. Burton should never be anything more than Artistic Director of anything.

Really, worse than the abominations that Joel Schumacher crapped out?

His B&R is what killed the franchise, until Nolan came along.

Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Tod are my favourites.
Oh and Big fish too. 😛
